33/31.. the ultimate middle-child of jeans. I normally go with 32L, but some brands run a tad bit too long... 30 makes me look like I'm preparing for the floods.

Ha, I remember when I was 16 I was wearing 38w/34l.. Because like most white privileged youths.. it was cool to pretend you were from a life of poverty living in a rap video..

34/32. Been this way for years and hope to keep it.

I do need more crotch space as I get older. Getting bigger. Don't hate.

Have been as high as a snug-fitting 38. Currently, 35s are comfortable. Hard to find, but Banana Republic has good shorts and chinos in that size, so that's my game.

In July of last year I was at about 200 and had lost 20 pounds and got down to a 36/32. Unfortunately since then, I've been off work after having 2 spine surgeries. All that sitting around and not working or really exercising and I put on 36 pounds in a little over a year and am up to a 42/32 I believe. Going to have to work hard to get back down once the recovery is over in March if all goes well. It's disappointing to lose 20 pounds in a little over a month and then have health problems and put it all back on and more.

I swear on everything that is holy wrangler u-cuts are *anazing*. You just can't wear em outside of your yard, imo. But when I get old and dgas, I'm wearing nothing but wranglers with the pockets cut out so I can fondle myself and really enjoy all the u-cut has to offer.

Hope your health improves KYcat. More power to you and everyone else that has/wants to drop some weight.

You go, Mash.

I also own Wranglers. Decent. Bought a pair of some off-brand jeans at the Tazewell flea market during my last visit home in April. Paid $1. Wearing 'em now.

Under Armour shorts are the way to go. A little elastic in the waist and so much cooler than your typical chino shorts. Your balls don't sweat in them.

Around 46 but I have lost 30 pounds. Down from 234 to 206.

Not sure where the weight came from because it ain't coming off my waist. Must be coming off the old Johnson.
Damn I weigh 234 and wear a 36

I am a 38 in shorts and jeans, but when I buy dress pants I usually get a slim fit and a 40 waist. I like the narrow leg opening, but the 38 is usually an inch tighter around the waist and very tight around my but, quads, and hammy, thus not very comfortable to wear to work all day.

Side note question. Has anyone else gotten to the point in their life where they just buy the same brand pants for everything? For instance I always get Daniel Cremieux strait leg jeans and Murano Alex Fit pants. That's all I ever buy. Saves me time and money since I know when Dillard's has there clearance sales so I just grab a pair of jeans and 2 or 3 pairs of dress pants at 70% off or so at each sale season.

36X32 or 38X32, but it depends on the fit. I've had some pants in my wardrobe for 20 years I bet. When I gain a few, I wear the 38s. Otherwise, I go with the 36s. I couldn't wear a 34 if I tried. Got down to 200 my Junior Year in college, and still wore a 36. I'm about 230 right now. I've weighed between 220 and 235 since I got out of college.

Yup plus it saves having to try them on - just buy what you know and go.
