Nothing special. Would love a shower with a bench and two shower heads. Bench needs to be big enough for me and the wife to share.

BDCS & BS
For BDCS, the Architect's Studio Companion will get you in the right headspace and you can go from there.

For Building Systems, I read MEEB cover to cover - out loud. I used my iPhone to record myself reading each sub section (5-10 minutes).

At the beginning of each recording, I would give myself some audio context with a "reset" by saying the name of the test, title of reference material, chapter, section, and subsection. After each session, I would add these files to my iTunes library (edit the metadata to allow for easy sorting) and transfer them to my phone.

Then, I would listen playlists of myself reading study material, all day, for months. When I was "sick" of hearing about enthalpy for the 100th time (because I had it down pat) I knew I was ready to take the exam.

I had atypical experience when I took the exams, so I had to learn almost everything for those exams by reading it in books. You shouldn't have to do that.

Basically, read and retain everything in this book and you'll be set. It's simple.:

I didn't mention that I test for BDCS in 12 days. I've been reading fundamentals of building construction, also be Edward Allen. Do you think this will suffice? I started testing in march and have passed 5 in 5 tries to this point. I really don't want to reschedule it.

That should be fine.
I would get a lot of reps in on the vignette.

It paints things in broad strokes for initial planning. It's OK, but I don't really use it much for what I do.

I think the illustrated code reference books are better to have - if you don't have them already.

Glass doors, stone inside, fog-free mirror for shaving in 30 seconds under hot water, one of those shower caddies with shampoo, soap, body wash, etc.

step in tub, off white, most likely fiberglass or plastic, removable shower head, 3-4 flat spots along the sides of the tub to store shower accessories, great for being lazy and sitting down in the tub, laying back, and letting shower water rain down on me.
A vastly underrated way to shower IMO

I still prefer bar soap. Irish Spring, to be exact. I like wash cloths too.

Assuming both those takes are deemed unacceptable in 2015.

Shower stall. Double shower head for maximum wetness (giggity). Water heater turnt up high (this one goes to 11). Shower Radio, but about to be upgraded to bluetooth. Blurred shower door to give the wife just enough of a peek if she is so inclined (she's not).

Wa(r)shcloth and liquid body soap. Suave shampoo because eff my follicles. They've been ****** to me, so they deserve what they get.

Most importantly, a kickass shower drain, #youknowwhatimsayin

Bluetooth speaker system and then an entire obstacle course of her goddamn shampoo bottles that I end up knocking over at least once per week. A bar of Lever 2000 (no washcloth) and an industrial size bottle of Head & Shoulders for me (the latter of which i only use when i'm overdue for a haircut)

80 has a pretty dope shower. Thing is like a damn carwash. If I build, will definitely do one like that.

Have a Sonos Play 5 in the room, but not in the actual shower.

Stand up shower. All of my wife's junk every where with about an inch section for my soap and shampoo. Cant take a shower without knocking 50 of her shower products off of the side. She keeps complaining that her loofa smells like pee. It would not get peed on if it could stay where she leaves it.

My shower is basic. The ole lady did get me a little shower caddy thing that holds the soap and shampoo. Kind of convenient.

So what's the whole bar of soap/washcloth/loofa consensus around here? I personally use a bar of soap. Tried the washcloth once but thought it seemed a lot dirtier as I had this fear it was absorbing all the **** and storing it. Loofa is okay every now and then, but really just a bar of dove soap for men is my go to.

How does one wash their *** without a wash cloth? Can't use something re-usable like a shower puff or loufa (not to mention the loufa would feel like sandpaper on your b-hole).

I used bar soap for the first time in about 7 years recently and I felt like I was caked in cement all day.

Can anyone else not function at all without a shower every day? I get headaches if I don't have one and feel like crap all day.
