Agree with all except for the MH game. Give me MH by 1.

Also of note, for North Henderson if the Maxpreps stats are correct Parker Willis didn’t play against RS Central who was up 38-6 at the half. He got limited carries against Enka in Week 1 and kept coming to the sideline to get his leg looked at. If he can’t go against Hendersonville, it’s going to get ugly quickly. Even if he does play, I think it gets ugly quickly. North just doesn’t appear to have a lot of talent. Not sure if that’s due to youth or injury or maybe a little of both.

I think that's a loaded question LOL .. I think it's massively unfair to compare anyone to coach Rob and I like that Pope seems to be really engaged w/ his kids. I will say this: I watched our starting RB (who gets all the graphics and social media clout) turn the ball over 3 times friday night. I watched him take his helmet off, slam it on the ground, act a fool & have horrific body language. Coach Rob would never ever allow that. It's little things like that I would hope would not change.

I think we have some skill players being underutilized for sure. We have a kid that I believe is faster than Cason Jones, as uncoverable, yet we don't prioritize getting him the ball. We have a massively underutilized TE. We have a true dual threat QB that's underutilized. I don't know man, but this team is fractured and that starts at the top.

Heard cherryville has little speed. I think Madison hit Home run with new coach ,Heard kids love him. They need be patient give him time, keep politics out of it.

If Cherryville didn’t have to play in the conference they do they would turn heads. They have a lot of speed. They are pretty good. The problem is their whole conference has speed. We have a tough time with speed in space. Our kicking game is terrible. Even still we had our chances. Had 2 trips to the red zone in the 3rd that we came away with a turnover on downs and an INT. it was a 2 touchdown difference if we could kick extra points. We have scored 12 TDs this year and I think we have made 1 extra point. No soccer kids will kick for us. Just don’t have anyone who can kick. Craziest thing I’ve seen. The soccer program has always helped us with kicking but not this year. I don’t know if it’s the coach or the kids but someone needs to step up from the soccer program. Kickoff we are fine on. Just needs someone to kick extra points. This could potentially cost us several games this year. We can score. Just need a kicker

Owen will be fine when western highlands starts , hendo has some speed, in skill positions, not that much in other areas.

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any rock solid coaches in the WHC at this very moment. Avery is a revolving door of coaches and has been for many years. It's unfortunate that they have one of the best fields/stadiums in the state, but is just unable to produce anything noteworthy on it. Polk/Owen are just former giants who can't get out of their own way anymore. It's sad seeing what they've become following the Ollis and Ford dynasties. Madison is, well Madison. Henderonsville is a typical Henderonsville team. Absolutely loaded with talent and speed, but once again they will be undisciplined and mental errors will kill them. Hendersonville also historically struggles to travel, a much better home team always. Then you are left with Heritage and Mitchell. Heritage is trying to fill the shoes (similar to Owen/Polk) of the greatest coach in their school's history and I'm not convinced they have found the solution. Mitchell on the other hand has the coach with the most proven success at this point in Pittman. He regularly produces a competitive program and you always expect them to win 8+ games. I hope to see the WHC begin producing high level and well respected coaches again soon.

Avery has had many school wide issues. I mean just in Superintends over the last few years they are on what? number 3 since covid?

Yeah I haven't a clue what they're referring to. I mean if there's anything after all these years it's difficult to keep secrets in such a small county and I haven't heard anything.
I did joke withl him with that new sport we're now expecting a championship. That's some facility.
