Polk has a good game on their hands this week. Hendersonville is better than heritage made them look.
Mountain Heritage made me eat my words last week, So i'm rolling with the cougars taking this game in a slugfest.
Mitchell wins by a lot, this offense is looking better every week, I don't see east henderson slowing them down much.
Avery needs a win badly this week, their schedule is about to get tougher.
Owen should outmatch Franklin.
Good luck madison the WHC is pulling for you.

Player of the week: Caleb Scott from Owen.

Upset alert: I don't see any possibility of an upset this week, so lets go with madison.

Blowout alert: If Hoilman can avoid turning the ball over, Avery could open up a large lead early and keep it.

Game of the week: Heritage gets the nod 2 weeks in a row. The styles of these 2 teams does not include the spread offense or cover 4 defense. So it's safe to say this will be a physical game and a defensive battle.

With the exception of Madison, WHC sweeps the week.

Polk steps up in competition but I have become a believer.
Heritage defense is too strong.
Mitchell scores early and often.
Avery scores early and often.
With the crazy amount of injuries and an improved Owen team, this one gets ugly fast. Franklin down what now like 8 starters. Just simply amazing. Have to feel bad for them. Franklin will continue to play hard though.

Yeah my sons team may get blown out Friday. Cloudland brings back their OL from last year. Got some good skill players but one of the RBs is out for the year with a broke arm. We aren’t a bad team. 1st 3 games were against tough teams. The biggest problem is I don’t think the kids like the new coach and I don’t know how good of a coach he is. I think Lunsford knew what he was doing when he brought him up to help when he came back to coach girls basketball and then left when his daughter graduated.

Polk by 7 may give a small window of how they will match up with Mtn Heritage.
Mtn Heritage by 14
Mitchell by 28 + maybe another 2nd half running clock.
Avery by 7.. May be more , but after the game last week not sure plus which Cloudland will show up , Happy Valley beat them 19-6 and Hampton 14-8 so you'd thought there been a pretty good game between Hampton and Cloudland then Hampton wins 42-0, guess it shows as in my reference to the Polk - MH future match up can't always tell by playing the same team earlier what going to happen.
Owen by 21+
Chase depends on when running clock starts.

for all Polk doubters watch channel 40 Friday night it's gonna be epic Polk defensive is best maybe ever best line in years and a whole stable of fullback kicking game is nearly perfect and this team loves each other like I've never seen Polk is back baby!!!!

How is Polks secondary this year. It was a liability last year. I’m guessing DBs we’re young last year and improved.

We all knew Ollis would have them back in the saddle in no time. I've seen a little film from this season, and Polk looks impressive. No one really looks a stand out player on this squad, but they execute flawlessly, and are playing sound fundamental football. If I remember right, Ollis had a playbook about 3 pages thick. No flash, just football.

Have we ever beat Hendersonville in JV. Talking back at the school was said that they couldn’t remember.... at least in the last 20 years

Boys I’m so proud of those Wolverines tonight. This was the first game of the year that we had any resistance. We haven’t had a team that could stop us or a offense that could move the ball. We handled it great. After Hendo scores with like 4 mins left to go up we never gave up and that’s what I wanted to see. How we reacted to some adversity... proud tonight of the wolverines never flinched.

loved the way they stayed focused late in 4th when they lost the lead , they never flinched or got worried they just bared down and got it done like a champion would do, so proud of these guys !!!!!! gonna be hard to whip this team , they don't get crazy when they fall behind they trust in each other and knuckle down and get it done they love each other like I've never seen

Let’s have a dose of reality I’ve been on Polk band wagon, but y’all go to heritage who beat hendo 30-6. I would be cautiously optimistic

we have plenty of respect for heritage, but it was pretty easy for Hendo to scheme for Polk one week after playing heritage since we're basically carbon copies of each other just had basically a second chance to fix what they did wrong against heritage, it was a real dogs fight and we just wouldn't take no for a answer !!
