Well now that sucks . But we did need the rainHad two days of unused vacation (expire on May 31st) so I took Thursday and Friday off. Couple those with the Memorial Day weekend and I was looking at FIVE whole days away from the salt mine with lots of plans. Woke up Wednesday night (technically Thursday morning) at 1:45 a.m. puking my guts out. Sick as a dog all day Thursday with splitting headache, body aches, etc. So Thursday was a wash. Friday morning, felt normal but then found out my dad had two appointments scheduled that day, 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. ...plus it was raining so Friday....so those strategically timed appointments along with rain and Friday was a washout. Saturday I remembered I needed to mow the family cemetery which I originally was going to do Thursday. So mowed and weed eated that all day.....in the rain. Saturday was a washout. Sunday was church and visiting all the family cemeteries. So nothing for Sunday. Today, mowed the yard that I should have mowed Saturday. So Monday was washed out.Tomorrow......back to work and not one single item on my "grand plan weekend" was accomplished.
Yet still alive to accomplish all that. Glass half full.Had two days of unused vacation (expire on May 31st) so I took Thursday and Friday off. Then on Monday morning the family cat who has been with us since 2001 died. RIP Toby. Absolutely the smartest cat I've seen. The only cat I've seen that would actually play fetch like a dog.Had two days of unused vacation (expire on May 31st) so I took Thursday and Friday off.
