When do you start becoming concerned

I like many am not screaming the sky is falling with this loss. There were many good things to take away from this game. Also stuff that needs to improve if we want to compete with good teams.

My question is when do you start to become concerned? Does the W-L this year not really matter as long as we are playing better as a unit? Or maybe year 1 fair game for coaches and staff.

Year 1 of any new coach is tough to judge based only off of W and Ls. I think basically Win the games you should win and play good football against good teams, keep it close and respectable. Eliminate dumb mistakes, play good clean football. Win or Lose those don't matter as much.

I would say my concerned tipping point would be for sure if we lose to South Bamba or Mcnee st. Honestly those shouldn't even be close. If we have a losing season, that would be cause for concern I think.

It's a little early to be talking about being concerned. However, some.people better start dealing with the reality that coaching changes can be difficult, and that isn't always an indictment of the new staff.

I became concerned when the announcers kept bringing up the opening game streak.

Kinda like when they jinx kickers on how great they are and haven't missed in forever....then. pffttt hook.

I think they will be alright. Now make up for it with some wins where we are the dog.

I May be concerned at some point this year, but I really hope it doesn't get to that point. Surely it will be next year until we start bringing out the measuring stick for this staff.

There isn't much you can take away from one game when looking to the future. It wasn't some pushover program that Nebraska lost to today and it's not like Nebraska had no shot at winning that game.

I need to see a lot more to make a call on anything..

I do like Riley as a person, and I think he is respected in the coaching profession... But I don't like the attitude following the loss... "Oh golly gee, we'll do our best next time"... doesn't work for me.

Bo was not good after a loss...i can agree with that... terrible with the media... but he had fire... Riley's post game just rubbed me wrong, this isn't Oregon St... Or maybe this is Oregon St., and we just haven't accepted that yet.

I saw enough today to know that 7-5 is my new prediction for this season. Started at 8-4 but changed, due to NEB`s piss poor performance and minnesota`s strong play, along with #northwestern. I thought this could be a tough year but it's going to be tougher than I hoped
