Roy Williams and Jim Boeheim say welcome to the family. When do the ACC big wigs get sick and tired of all this corruption at UofL and kick their sorry @$$ out of the conference?
UofL to the ACC must be like the family that shows up to a wedding wearing jeans with a rat tailed 7 year old boy.
You are probably right, one has to wonder what the end game/final outcome will be.The only thing working in UL's favor is that the Wake situation has been going on since 2014 so other schools are involved.Did UL play Wake last year? If Elrod talks and says they had info then as well then things get interesting. They didn't want them to begin with as they are an academic zit on the conference, so it will be interesting to see how the conference reacts to this. They aren't getting kicked out, but the ACC can't afford to act like this isn't a big deal.

This is what the ACC got when they left their door unlocked..

The UofL coach had a friend call him that he KNEW was on payroll at WF. He KNEW that he was calling him to hand over inside information. He sat on that phone call or text message to gather information and deemed the info pertinent enough to take it and share with the defensive staff. Just like insider trading with the market. If it's proven that you received inside info and acted on it you're guilty. If you knowingly receive stolen property you're guilty. He knew the information he was receiving was not supposed to ever make it outside of Wake Forrest's locker room.I understand UofL is your big rival and all, but seems like they are doing their best to fit in with the rest of the ACC. ACC had academic scandals and rape coverups before they joined. They just trying to fit in. The Wake deal is on the Wake guy who gave them the gameplan, not UofL unless they asked him to steal and bring it to them.

How long did if take for them to get tired of UNCheat? When do the ACC big wigs get sick and tired of all this corruption at UofL and kick their sorry @$$ out of the conference?
Ever heard of Miami, Florida State, Miami, Duke, Miami, UNC, Miami, NC State, or Miami. When do the ACC big wigs get sick and tired of all this corruption at UofL and kick their sorry @$$ out of the conference?
They aren't mutually exclusive. It's on both of them. Elrod knowingly took, for lack of a better term, "classified" info and gave it to Galloway. Then Galloway knowingly took info he improperly received and used it in an attempt to gain a competitive advantage. You wouldn't use it because you have an ounce of morality in your body and realize that you are cheating.Still see it on the guy from Wake. I personally never heard of anything like that happening before, but why wouldn't he use it if it was given to him?
Assume you are the ACC. What do you do. Especially when reports are saying this Wake Forest guy has been doing this for over 2 years. They didn't want them to begin with as they are an academic zit on the conference, so it will be interesting to see how the conference reacts to this. Yea we are seeing it differently. I'm not sure how you can see one person in the wrong here and not both since they acted together. I think you're a great poster so please don't take any of this as a personal attack. When you say "reality is" how do you know that? How do you know what part of the game plan was handed over and what UofL had and had not prepared for? Is it simply because Tom Jurich said so? Less than a month ago Bobby Petrino vehemently denied any member on staff having any of this information. That was a lie. Now because they say well yea we had some of it but it didn't really help, we take that as fact? That's the thing, I don't see it as UofL cheating. I see it as a pissed off employee giving info away. The reality is there wasn't much there that they hadn't already seen from film study. We are just seeing it differently, I dont think it had much of an effect on the game's outcome
What part of intellectual property is confusing to you? I am not trying to be condescending here. Honestly. No one on WF staff knew about this. Stolen property (intellectual) was taken and given to other opponents, which includes UofL. UofL knew it was stolen and used it for their gain. Furthermore, they NEVER, and I do mean NEVER, reported the stolen info. Instead, they used it. This is absolutely a UofL issue and every other team that received the info and used it.That's the thing, I don't see it as UofL cheating. I see it as a pissed off employee giving info away. The reality is there wasn't much there that they hadn't already seen from film study. We are just seeing it differently, I dont think it had much of an effect on the game's outcome
Did Georgia play them in that time frame? Serious question. It seems that the very basic premise behind stolen property is not resonating with you on this topic. That's the thing, I don't see it as UofL cheating. ACC....hmmm "All Cheat Conference"
Is that similar to the SECheat conference, affectionately known as the "Society of Excellent Cheaters?":stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I am assuming Louisville is not the only ACC school to have been offered material. If so, why did the other schools not come forward.
It is a much bigger problem than just Louisville. It is a conference concern.
Oh wow that cut deep..keep that in mind while EVERYBODY laughs at your sewer pot..
