In the back of all of our minds, we were fine with him transferring. Likely would have gotten a better player.

Has not shown any signs of improvement and extremely low basketball iq, Moreno should be starting over him going forward.

The dude just doesn’t have it and NEVER HAS! He’s AWFUL and gives us NOTHING! Makes me question wtf Pope is thinking??? We had plenty of chances to replace his *** through the portal and didn’t. Smfh.
BG is almost unplayable in a game like this. Won’t block out, doesn’t challenge shots, and gets lost on defense.
It is amazing that true freshman Moreno has a better understanding of the game than BG
as frustrating as Amari could be, we were always better with him on the court by far

Ironically he's a 5 star HS recruit. But clearly overrated and not an elite talent.
Moreno has shown he belongs on the court since the exhibitions -- we need real talent on this team in order to reach any serious goals, and Moreno should get as many reps as possible to facilitate development.

It's early (3 games), but Moreno 13.1 rebounds per30min; Garrison 7.0 rebounds per30min.
Last year Garrison was 6.7 rebounds per30min.
He was not five star, ranked around 40 I think, High 4 star
BG is a 4 size wise, trying to be a 5, because he doesn’t have the skill set to be a 4, but he also doesn’t have the skill set to be a 5, so…

BG will have several games this year where he'll look all world, and we'll go oh yeah that's why he's on the team. But for the rest of the season we'll be scratching our head wondering why we didn't play Moreno or Jelavic more.
Yeah, Garrison is about the same as last year. But, we did not know Moreno could actually compete at this level. With JQ out for the beginning of the season we needed BG to fill that hole. To my surprise, Moreno has been better early this season.

What games was he all world last year?
- He scored 15 pts twice was his high water marks.
- He blocked 20 shots over 35 games for the entire year....which is pathetic even if only 18 mpg
- He grabbed 9 rebounds once was his high water mark
- He can run into a few 3pter every now and then...but even at that shot 30% from 3pt land last year
I never liked his game time last year adn was begging for Amari to get his breath and get back on the floor. And so far this year, it's like let's hope Quantenance gets back in January so we can let Moreno back him up and cut Garrison from rotation.

Ah yes, that was it. I know there was something about him when we got him in the portal that made me think "why have I never heard of him". McDAA was it, not 5 star.
