I honestly can’t remember a game where that happened. Anyone know? It may go back to before when I was a student, and face masks on helmets were a relatively new-dangled device.

I also haven’t rewatched, but I can only remembered maybe two Husker hurries.

I bet we allowed zero sacks to an overmatched team we have played in recent years like Indiana State or someone like that.

A few years back Army allowed only one sack ALL SEASON, but of course how you going to sack a QB running the option? LOL!

But the fact is we do not run the option and I think the game ball from yesterday should go to the OLine and Coach Anderson!

The pre-game boasting by Neb trolls on our board made it sound like they had the best pass rush in the nation, especially with their transfers. To hold them to zero sacks is noteworthy.

Skoronski was dominating their #44 all game. FoxSports was trying to build that guy up during the broadcast.

Not just zero sacks but basically zero pressure. It was really some of the best pass protection NU has had in years.

The ESPN box score reports 1 QB hurry for Lincoln.

NU was credited with two sacks (Azema’ blitz and Johnson’s when Thompson was pressured and fell) and three hurries.

True and total dominance.

The last time NU allowed 0 sacks was all the way back in... October of last year, when we allowed 0 sacks in a 21-7 win over Rutgers.

The Cats did something right last year. Who would have thought?
Wow, I am really surprised. With all the breakdowns in the middle of the O Line last year, the thought that a B1G team couldn’t register a sack is pretty mind boggling.

Believe it or not, that wasn't even the only time last year that we allowed 0 sacks. The offensive line also kept a clean sheet in the Ohio game.

The question should be changed to “When is the time we allowed 0 sacks against a conference opponent?”

Did Rutgers get tossed from the B1G and I missed it? Dang!!

If the question is "when was the last time we allowed 0 sacks against a 'traditional' conference opponent," the answer is December 12, 2020, when we allowed 0 sacks in a win over Illinois.

This is really not an unusual occurrence.
