I can't remember the last time Joliet Catholic and Providence Catholic both started 0-1 in the same season.

More importantly, are there 5 winnable games remaining on their schedules so they can qualify for the playoffs.

I can see Wheaton North, Notre Dame, Nazareth, Marist and St. Pat's giving the Hillmen a problem.

For PC, it's the usual suspects in the Blue that could be the culprit.

When is the last time both teams missed the playoffs, if ever?

In reading the Provi game article, I was surprised at how much ESL dominated (Provi had 39 total yards and 6 1st downs, 3 via penalty). Next week is already a must win against Kirkwood Vianney MO. BR, LA and MC are going to be tough. If they can win next week, the key game may be against Fenwick, who had an impressive win over Phillips. Week 3 at home against Montini will be very telling for the Friars. The Celtics could be out of the playoffs two years in a row.

It's going to be tough for the Hilltoppers to get 5 wins. Week 3 against Pat's will be telling. Looks like the Shamrocks can score some points.
