If you voted for a man who ran on racism then idk what to tell ya. He won because of the racism, that was the feature. He had zero policy beyond tax breaks for rich white people.

Sincerely,

A guy who didn’t vote for Obama
I didn’t even vote! Shame on me. I was just using it as an example of how ppl view ****. Everybody has faults. Donald Trump… Adolph Rupp was viewed as racist, but he could still do his job and win ballgames along the way. Nobody pushing him around too much.
Yeah though keep on spreading the word of Joe around. Power to the ppl 👊. And **** a bunch of politics. I come here to discuss basketball. No hard feelings though. I just disagree with a person deciding who is a racist because they heard something Joe Rogan said. It’s all good though.

Awww. Faux persecution complex is adorable. I don’t know how white dudes survive these days with all the struggles they face.

Get a grip.

To the topic: Ewing likely gets fired the day after their last game.

I think you misunderstood my point with Rogan. Like I said I don’t listen to/view his podcast, it’s just relevant because there was a video released the other day of him using the n word and calling black people apes. He apologized for it and that’s part of what he said. And about that at least, he was right. So when people came on this post to share their belief that Ewing is the coach at G-Town because he’s black and then explaining how that racist opinion doesn’t make them racist is hilarious, because they really did not need to get on here and out themselves as racist in the first place. This is the **** every god damn racist says. “Here‘s my blatantly racist opinion, but I’m not racist, and if you call me racist then you’re racist”. Same **** every ******* time.

Joe Rogan was just saying “if you ever find yourself in a situation where you’re explaining you’re not racist, you already ****ed up”. Look at some of you go…haven’t met many racists who openly admit they’re racist. But if you think black people only get jobs because they’re black, it’s because you are indeed racist. the Ewing hiring had nothing to do with race and everything to do with Georgetown not having many options and him being a face of the program. They wanted to hire a Georgetown guy. What white player do you think of that played for Georgetown? I’m coming up empty.
John Thompson always had a “token” white at the end of the bench by his own admission. Not that I care. His team, his choice.

Damn.. you seem upset. It’s all good brutha. It’ll be alright. I ain’t gonna worry about this anymore after this post.

It’s fine that we don’t agree. If ya ever get falsely accused of something in your life more than once you might find out that ppl say words sometimes like “oh hell, I swear it wasn’t me” or “I didn’t do it.. why would you think that” but that alone don’t make somebody guilty of anything. It comes down to actions and whether or not they actually done whatever they was accused of (or not) that determines if they’re indeed guilty. Then ppl may always be on edge after that. We don’t really never know what the hell is going on in somebody else’s mind just because they say a few words.

When a black person has ever said to me “I’m not a racist” I like that. I take his word for it and hope he proves me right. It also kinda puts me at ease. I’m not walking on egg shells. So everyone has a different way of looking at it I guess, but it’s all good over here. That’s all I got.

In general, guys that were great players typically don’t become great coaches. Georgetown hasn’t been relevant since the 90s. They’ve lost all the cache the had under JohnThompson. Young kids don‘t know that they were ever a great program unless they’re historians of the game.
They were really good around 2005-2006
Jeff green was a great player. They got screwed in the tournament that season. Elite 8 I believe

No but I bet you kiss Bidens *** if you are truly that out of touch. You want to talk about someone who has no actual policy he's your man

It's kinda funny how things are in America right now. As a white person you are told to not see color but everyday we constantly have race thrown in our faces. Heck if I were disabled and never left the house I would think America is like 90% black because that's all you see on tv. And then you see black history month, support black business owners, end racism, etc on tv over and over. I can't see color but everything thrown in my face everyday is color. The Left has divided America by creating false illusions to keep themselves in power, ie vote for me and this will end. But does it ever end? No. Two of our last three Presidents were Lefties and things are apparently worse now than ever according to all the whining. Wake up people.

Yeah, John Thompson was so racist that when he finally retired he handed his beloved program over to Craig Esherick, his longtime white assistant.
You miss the point. It wasn't to call JT a racist (though by his actions you could argue that), it was to highlight the double-standard. If a white coach were to only give scholarships out to white players today, he would 100% without question be labeled a racist. No matter what else he might do to the contrary, including getting a black coach hired after he leaves.

your last question illustrates another point.
