World Herald and Journal Star are sunshine pumpers and Kool-Aid distributors. They won’t question anything or put any pressure on the coaching staff.
They’re all on an unwritten gag order by UNL.
Never. I’m sure they’re told not to bite the hand that feeds you. At the same time…newspapers still exist?
The next "hard question" any Nebraska media outlet asks of a Nebraska football coach will be the first one.
Are either of them still in business? I don't know a single person who gets the LJS newspaper. I suppose some of them are paying for the online version, but I'm not sure I've even seen a physical newspaper in years.

This question needs to be asked - Matt, your teams were physically dominated and humiliated the last 3 games of the season in year 3. How do you plan to fix this going into season 4?
Why didn't you sign big DL players from the portal?
Why is the running back room always so thin?
Why haven't you been able to pass downfield all year?
Is your philosophy to use tight ends only for blocking?
Why does Nebraska find it necessary to substitute so much on defense? And why do you waste a timeout or two every game due to substitution confusion?
Why was Coach Butler let go after only one year? Was it due to inadequate vetting, he changed things up after he started coordinating, or personal friction?
Was Donovan Raiola kept on only because his nephew was here?
Does S&C need to be overhauled due to wilting in the 4th Q?
I saw a Sunday World Herald at Casey's a couple weeks ago. It was so thin you could slit your wrists with it.
I watch Sipple and Callahan show on YouTube. They are never critical of anything to do with Rhule and the football team. They fully endorse everything Matt tells them.
Simple Sipple is unwatchable/unlistenable. He's completely uninformed, never makes any good points, and talks like he's had a TBI.

Any media that wants access to the coaching staff knows you won't have that access if they publicly embarrass any coach, especially HCMR.
He did, but he was about the only one back in the day that might say something negative. That said, he'd wait until the firing to spill the beans. Always came off as disingenuous when it came after the fact.
Just like ON3. They are the worst sunshine pumpers of all time. On topm of that they are so aragant they believe they are right and fully refuse any criticism of thier opinions. Not allowed. They are God of Husker football knowledge. Mainly Sean is that person. He knows no more than any fan anymore and proves it weekly.
