Happy about this.
As a long time PSU season tix holder, I’m disappointed. As a guy who lives not far from Blacksburg, I’ll be happy to see these two in my neck of the woods, especially if PSU engages with VT. A little “leveling” in college wrestling is a good thing. Now; if I can just get that bad taste outta my mouth from that mess we witnessed in LA.

JS is the official paid hater for Iowa.

When Manning comes to BJC, who is our guy to get under his skin that he didn't land Bo and Melvin? Manning so enjoyed his last visit to the BJC.

He puts together competitive teams but his style is not to my taste.

Good for VT staff, hope it works out well for you and you get more fan attendance with these signings.

Given the history between Brands and VA Tech, this was a statement to Brands about how things went down after Bo committed.

(Mind you, I respect Brands for sticking to the rules as he saw them.)

There is a sort of poetic justice to this switch. Now finish the job and start trouncing Iowa (if the oranges ever allow that to happen - but it would make for a pretty fun dual).

I definitely understand the desire to be the face of a program. However, a road dual on a Sunday afternoon against their rival, set in a cafeteria with 34 fans on hand, may not be quite the spotlight they initially thought.
Nah, it’s perfect for them. They are big fish in a small pond. Plus, dad can bully that coaching staff more than Cael or the Brands.

I would’ve taken the kids in a heart beat, seem like great kids. But I heard all I needed to hear about the Dad when he tried to overthrow Strayer and haven’t heard anything different since. McCort ban, Iowa hissy fit and other things seem on course.

I heard from the beginning that PSU wasn’t pushing hard for Bo, through the whole process I haven’t heard anything to make me think that was off but who knows.

I did want Melvin a lot though.

Good luck to them at VT

Didn't VaTech just vote to commit a boatload of money to athletics?

And then there's this -- a football player asked to shirt this year. He's entitled to enter the portal since Pry was fired, but has not and said he wants to stay at VT. VT pulled his scholarship + NIL. He hired an attorney.

Given that VT has an interim football coach, that decision was absolutely made or approved by the AD.
