Even more fun would be edgy a top 50 through the years... biggest woulda coulda was that LB from Hubbard whose name escapes me right now. 5*, Nate Patterson maybe? Another one that never made it was Dan Doering, 5* from Barrington.

I think it was Chris Patterson...went to Oklahoma...never heard what became of him

Hawkeye fan here. In Doering's defense, he battled injuries. IMHO you can never fault a kid for that.

That was the other guy I was thinking about... Doering had some injuries but that wasn't really the reason he didn't play. He never really put it together as a college OL. I think he made 5 starts throughout his career.
