This thread reminds me of the joke about a Tennessee student on spring break in Florida, saw a pretty coed on the beach he wanted to meet. He approached and said, "I'm from Tennessee, where you from?" She coyly responded, "Yale." He then said, "I'm from Tennessee, where you from?"
Born in Madisonville, lived there and mostly in Union County (Waverly/Morganfield) until Dad was transferred to Tennessee (Chattanooga area) for my last two years of high school. Left for the USAF, Mom & Dad moved back to Waverly (same old family house), and I eventually got my engineering degree and lived in Illinois, Indiana (near Louisville), California, and am now in Denver, CO area with my 21-month old daughter (recently divorced).
I get back to KY for a game or two every December, and to KY a few times throughout the year to visit family.

To the other jerk who said my father is from New Jersey not true at all he's from the mountains of NC born and raised the same as all of his ancestors for 200 years lol. And ima duke fan because of that? As for them never being superior I do t want to start an argument BUT what would you call the span from 99-now?? Y'all may very we'll be better then us right now and accomplished more since our last title in 10 but the tubby years and BKG years should be enough to show you why I ragged them most of my life LOL and u had an NIT with cal so don't be holier then thou I just wanted to make conversation. I caught up on justified with the DVDs just in time for this season so I'm excited to see where this thing is headed!

Born and raised in Big Stone Gap, VA. It's about 10 miles from the Lynch/Benham/Cumberland metroplex. Lived in BSG for 34 years, and have resided in Kingsport, TN for the last 20. My dad was a long time UK fan, and I have been one since the late 60's.
