I can understand some frustration about drew barker so far but to say he's not cut out for the SEC and saying he sucks as bad as towles is stupid.

He's a sophomore and is 3 games into the season. He got hurt early so I don't even count the last game because he didn't even have time to adjust or even settle the offense down.

I've been a UK fan all my life and I don't recall seeing very many sophomores starting for us lighting the world on fire. So if you're expecting that type of quarterback here as a sophomore, I'd suggest you find a new team. Because I have no idea where you got that expectation from, cause we sure haven't set that standard and to be honest, not a lot of SEC teams have.

Boston College has not won an ACC game since 2015....they are awful. Their skill position players are non existent. It's hard to look decent when your team is abysmal. I dare say we could beat them. The other funny stat is ...BC basketball was 0-19 in conference play last season. And people think we have problems.

For those poo-poo-ing on Barker, please keep in mind that he is basically playing his first year.

Easy with the comparisons. There aren't any at the moment. Circle back around when Barker is in his last year here.

Disagree here, redshirt and all the reps during practice and extra year to perform. Jmo

He has been playing with some type of chronic back issue though...explains a lot. Spring game he made throws Towles never showed us he could...he looked great in a half vs USM, until getting hit which likely aggravated that back issue.

Barker would've been great in the 2010 type offense with a little OL protection...SJ may be the best option for the team this year IMO.

Where has the Barker "gang" gone? Dude is even worse than Towles and appears to be as fragile as grandma's fine china. No poise, no leadership, poor accuracy, poor decision maker on and off the field, no durability, no touch on the ball, no anticipation with his throws, locks into one receiver and doesn't go through progressions, terrible at anticipating blitzes and reading the defense pre-snap..I could go on and on..if you're going to rip a guy that doesn't even play here any more you should at least make sure your guy isn't worse

LOL. He has shown accuracy, anticipation, gone through progressions and has spread the ball around. He has thrown people open, hit the deep ball multiple times, used 7+ different WRs...as a passer, shown much more promise and ability than Towles. His decision making and ball security is on par with Towles (which isn't a compliment).

I suppose his poise, leadership and pre-snap reads could be questioned - but how would you know unless in the locker room.

His durability can be questioned and has factual evidence to back it up...all your other stuff just makes you sound like a sour Towles rah rah boy.

I didn't rip towles at all...stating the facts of his season. I am ripping posters that were proclaiming him to be NFL quality before the beginning of last season, and some were even doing the same b4 the beginning of this season.
Saying someone is not NFL quality is not ripping them...

Last year one person claimed he was better than Joe Montana.
