I was wondering the same. Might as well start up the prediction thread in his absence. Interesting slate of games.
Viator over Deerfield....no one has a tougher conference slate than Viator. This is a must win for their playoff hopes. Deerfield won by forfeit last week. Advantage Lions.
Marist over Dusable....the Redhawks get their first W.
Glenbrook S. over Pat's.....Glenbrook S. lost handily to Barrington in week 1. Not sure what Pat's has this year. The game is on the green cement at Hanson. GBS on a pure guess.
Oswego East over Marian of the Heights....have the transfer rumors at Marian been confirmed? The game is at East, who won handily in week 1.
Naz over Leo....the Roadrunners do not have the most difficult non-con schedule.
Benet over O'Fallon.....it's in Lisle, which is a looong trip for O'Fallon. Speed generally gives Benet issues, but I'll take the Redwings at home.
Phillips over Carmel....have to wonder if the Corsairs expected Phillips to be this good when they scheduled this game and last years. Phillips' defense is fast. They have the athletes to limit Carmel's option game.
Evanston over ND....the game is in Evanston. This is another very athletic team. The Dons will have their hands full. I expect a close one. Could be a statement game for ND with a win.
Marian of Woodstock over McHenry.....Mike Maloney got his first win last week. MCC has another Budamyr at QB, and they're at home.
JCA over Wheaton North....WN has the athletes to give JC problems. The question will come down to the LOS. The JC D-line dominated against Provi last week. If WN can hold their own at the LOS, this one could go either way. I'm going with the Hilltoppers at home.
