This no vote has many more ramifications. Why are you not screaming about it?

A couple of Democrats have already tried to kill Rand Paul. His street cred gives him a pass.

How many Democrats in the Senate are going to vote to shut down the Government?

Democrats are just trying to screw Trump and they don't care how many Americans they hurt doing it. If they had Congress, The Senate, and the Presidential Office they would be passing a huge increase in spending right now.

Trump should make their names classified to protect them. Too many terrorists threats out there right and their mission is vital to National Security.

Schumer will be SHOCKED and STUNNED when he realizes the American people support shutting down most "non essential" functions of Government. It will be all the proof voters need to see that the DOGE work is needed and should continue. So we can get by without all the worthless spending we won't be doing while the government is "shut down", and Schumer will actually help DOGE make their point that most of what we're spending is needless bloat anyway.

(the dirty little secret is government won't be totally "shut down", essential functions will go on as usual ) šŸ˜

He's not doing it to save money though. They are just running out of options.

The FBI is moving to criminalize groups like Habitat for Humanity for receiving grants from the Environmental Protection Agency under the Biden administration.

Citibank revealed in a court filing Wednesday that it was told to freeze the groups’ bank accounts at the FBI’s request. The reason? The FBI alleges that the groups are involved in ā€œpossible criminal violations,ā€ including ā€œconspiracy to defraud the United

Cry harder Commies. You don't get to tell us it's not fraud. The investigation will determine if it was fraud or waste.

It still hasn't dawned on them that they lost the last election. They're acting as if folks still want them in charge. Let 'em shut it down, that way we can vote again to keep them out of power.

Getting 60 in the Senate would help down the road. But shutting it down doesn't help Trump. Hence why are willing to do it. I'm all about a smaller more efficient Government but this doesn't help right now.

Ted explains what's going on.

Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.), vice chair of the House Democratic caucus, said whoever votes to fund the government owns whatever bad things come next from Trump and Musk, ā€œso we’re asking Senate Democrats to vote ā€˜no.ā€™ā€

Chuck Schumer is in a real shutdown mess. Can he lead Democrats out of it?

We can get by without the non essential stuff...other stuff goes on. This will give Musk and DOGE even more ammunition to shut down the rest of what we don't need.

Here's an insightful take on the possible coming government shutdown, and Democrats will not only get the blame for it, but screw themselves in the process.

Senate Dems taking big risk over shutdown

excerpt:
Schumer isn’t smart enough to understand Dems not voting to keep the government open will backfire. A shutdown forces only essential employees to work and therefore, proves Trump, Musk and DOGE right about the size of the federal workforce.

If the @SenateDems shutter most of the government by voting down the CR, they will empower President Trump, Musk and Russ Vought to pare the federal government workforce to its genuinely essential size, most of which will be at DOD, CIA, NSA, Homeland Security, DOJ. The entitlement checks will still go out but everything else will stop. The employees won’t get paid. And I suspect this time those who are recalled to work eventually won’t get back pay.

In short, this is a potentially pivotal moment for a big and lasting break with an out-of-control federal bureaucracy. I hope President Trump takes full advantage of the unhinged politics of the left that have taken over the Democrats and uses their break with mainstream America to do a fundamental reset of constitutional government.

A very good read.

Bad play by the Dems. I expected better.

This is the opening scene. They've went straight to the all out battle, and the battle hadn't even been defined yet. Dems will reap the blame for the shutdown on a continuing CR (dumbasses)

Then come fall when the real battle would be necessary, they've used up their clout already, and will have to roll over.

The useful NGOs are going to be the biggest losers in this. Head Start might not recover for years if a shut down lasts much time at all.

Senate Democrats say privately that they will not allow the government to shut down Saturday, despite growing pressure from activists and liberal lawmakers who want them to kill a GOP-crafted six-month stopgap spending bill.

Democrats look to save face in shutdown battle
They're screwed if they do, and screwed if they don't. They're just screwed! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

They need to investigate all of this. Wherever there's money laundering...there's a Democrat scheme behind it.

Democratic fundraising platform ActBlue is acting ā€˜really shady’

excerpt:
ActBlue is under increased scrutiny, especially following seven high profile executive exits and allegations of suspicious transactions. ā€œThe concern, of course, is that foreign countries and NGOs or government grants were illegally funneled through different organizations and then using people’s name against their knowledge and address,ā€ ā€œWhat we started to do about a year and a half ago is we started downloading their historic database every single day, and we were going to file some complaints. So one of the things we realized is that even the historic data, it just keeps radically changing by millions and millions of dollars, multiple times a day.

...more
ā€œcomputers, algorithms probably, and maybe AI now were just radically changing the database so that there was no way for you to kind of file a complaint. ā€œIt’s a really shady operation, and the exposure right now is obviously generating more attention than it has been in the past,ā€

The FBI needs to investigate ALL of this Democrat money scamming, and arrest everyone involved in it!

Every single Democrat who voted against this recent CR (from the House) voted for it just a few months ago!
(last December) Then it was fine, now it's a "threat to Democracy"? 🫤 It's essentially creepy Joe's last budget simply extended forward until the next fiscal year so we can work on a new budget later this year, and again... each and every Democrat supported it just five months ago!

If anything explains how schizophrenic the Dems have turned as a result of Trump derangement syndrome, this does it perfectly.

I broke them, that explains it!
