Is he a good coach? Yes. Has he won anything of significance? No. Does he have a winning record vs top 10 teams? No. Isn’t that why we fired Franklin?

I think Kiffin could have beaten Michigan two years ago. I think he could have beaten Oregon last year, sure.
Michigan beat Penn State by 9 and ole miss beat Penn State by a more than that in 2023. Do I think ole miss is favored? No. But they weren’t today either, or against Georgia last year.

Matt Rhule. 6-2 with 10-2 on the table and 9-3 likely. That was what he needed. He is going to get it and then be the next head coach at Penn State. And I love it. He checks all the boxes because he is in the Penn State family. He played for Joe and the donors like him.
That was Kiffin’s first road win vs a ranked SEC opponent at Ole Miss. He’s now 1-6 vs ranked opponents on the road.

They weren't doing anything with him in the game despite a scheme built around him. Hardy is a beast. How we should use Allen.

What's his record at home? Franklin couldn't win at home or on the road. No one expected to win them all or even half.
Hell no. He is a highly overrated coach that would never be on our radar if he was not a Penn Stater. Kraft should be fired if he replaces Franklin with this guy.
