Which state champ had the tightest games throughout their playoff run?

I was wondering if you guys could recall a champ who barely survived each round and won it all

1980 Gordon Tech: GT 14 New Trier 0, GT 13 Buffalo Gr. 7, GT 15 Lane 8, GT 6 Reavis 0. The championship game was a fumble recovery for a TD.

You’d probably have to go back to the 6 class format. 8 classes tend to have at least one mismatch in a champion’s path.

Another thread reminded me of the NN Huskie run in ‘92. And sure enough, what an incredible guantlet they overcame.

Round 1 31-25 over DGS at home

Round 2 23-20 over St. Rita on the road

QF 31-28 over rival NC on the road

SF 15-13 over WV at home

And at state, they had their largest playoff margin over LA 21-11

I wonder if anyone can find an 8 class run like that.

I just looked at all the large classes and none really jumped out at me except the two already mentioned. I think Glenbard West (2012) had the closest last 3 rounds.
