So far has posted numerous articles with numerous different stories. It's like he's throwing **** against the wall to see what sticks. Is Buckaineer actually the DUDE in real life?

“The ACC is trying to bring in Notre Dame and WEST VIRGINIA to renegotiate their tv deal as well.”

I had to laugh at that. 🤭

Believe it or not, that might be happening. WVU would be stupid to listen.

ND ain't coming to the ACC's rescue. Just like they watched the Big East drown right in front of them. IMO all ND will be doing is helping the Big 10 kill off PAC 12 and get what they want before the Big 12 can poach. The Big 10 obviously wants the Big 12 dead when they weren't invited to their "alliance." with the PAC 12 and ACC. That was helpful as the Big 12 hopefully has every excuse to tell these guys to f@#k off now and no one can clutch their pearls over it.

Looking at ND as anything other than a parasite at best and an enemy at worst would be foolish and would require ignoring literally every action they have taken over the past 20 years.

Notre Dame is very complex. On one hand, I applaud them for being traditionalists and trying to preserve their independence. However, I also realize it’s more to do with them being a very selfish prick of a school who doesn’t care if they destroy anyone else in the industry. They are a parasite who uses anyone and everyone.

I see the one guy that can never come up with a sports related take of his own, has stalked another of my posts. Best to simply ignore the tuba player.

ND used to be complex. They really aren't now. They work under 3 principles:
1) Keeping their NBC contract which eliminates any real urgency to join any conference.
2) Realizing that by simply joining a conference that said conference would immediately be given a Golden Ticket and by definition be immune from being killed off. Joining the SEC or Big 10 creates an immediate shift in power.
3) Understanding that desperate people will make stupid decisions for the sake of survival.

ND has repeatedly used these unalienable facts to completely screw literally dozens of universities over during the past 20 years. If you keep these 3 points in mind, you can 100% forecast everything they will do going forward.

The ACC has never considered WVU for membership, and as right now still don’t, to which the way of how things are shaking out, is a good thing.
This is false. There are ACC schools that want them. Duke and UNC (and likely Wake Forest) don't. I bet you even Duke and WF are changing their tune right now.

One or two of the newer schools that do want wvu don’t change the the overall fact that league itself as a whole doesn’t. But that’s ok, we’re better off not being in a league with a bunch of carolina schools anyway.

Agreed on the last point.

As far as a straw poll goes:

Absolutely no: DUKE, WF, BC, UNC, UVA and GT
Absolutely yes: Clemson, FSU, sPitt, Loserville, suckacuse, Miami and VT.
Waffle: NCSt,
No data: ND

This comes from multiple reports over the years as to how votes have gone in the past. Just enough old school ******** there to keep WVU out. As much as many WVU fans wanted that ACC invite, I never did and I believe our best chance of survival comes with our move to the B12. If we were already in the ACC, our facilities would have suffered relative to what we currently have and the B12 frankly would have better geographical options now as opposed to a decade ago.

We would be lock step with our old BE allies waiting to walk the plank off of the SS Big East v2.0.

I think the B12 picked up the obvious best options months ago and we are also the only major conference with any decent proximity to the PAC 12 teams that remain. The Big 10 moves incredibly slow and they just made a huge move. The SEC won't touch them with a ten foot pole and the ACC is equally screwed.

I didn't see this outcome 6 months ago, but unless our new Commish sh!ts the bed, we actually might live to fight another day.

I agree that the Big 12 should be in the best position between the PAC 12 and ACC ten or more years down the road. PAC 12 still has a few schools at risk to the Big 10/ SEC expansion, be it in a few years or a decade. The ACC's top dogs are going to be consumed in this arms race as soon as it is feasible. The PAC has no real replacement options. The ACC has a few replacement options, but they are bad. The Big 12 has an opportunity to monopolize the 2nd tier FBS spot between the first tier Big 10/SEC programs and the AAC level teams. Not glamorous, but the best realistic outcome for a conference that is not the Big 10 or SEC.

Aggressively pursue the best 4 teams left in the PAC 12 even if they are at risk of being poached later. Make the 16 team model work until the ACC gets raided and then be ready to pick off the best of the rest. Joining a 20 team cross country conference that includes the current Big 12 members plus Arizona, Colorado, ASU, and Utah in the west with Louisville, NC State, Syracuse, and one other in the east is better, to what degree is debatable, than staying in a decapitated PAC 12 or ACC for those teams. A Western division and Eastern division of 10-12 schools each where there is no interdivisional games and only the division winners play for the conference title could work.

LOL, you honestly think NBC would ever dump ND?

ND doesn't have to worry about anything.

Unfortunately, you don't understand either. Two peas in the same dumb pod.
Why don't you explain it to us...this comes from a person that needs attention so bad that he has actually announced multiple times his retirement from this message board...leaves then comes back 10 days later.

This also comes from someone that got banned on another board.

So yeah...please explain...while you are at it...maybe explain why you hang out here 24/7 when you aren't even a WVU fan.

That seems pretty stupid...don't you have a life? I mean no one here is hanging out 24.7 on a michigan board.

Doesn't understand the line, two peas in a pod. Really, no surprise from a Boone County tuba player. Stop posting please. You're an embarrassment to the fine WVU fanbase.

1. MichiganHerd not a fan of WVU yet stays on a WVU message board 24/7
2. Got banned from the Herd message board.
3. Has had at least three 'huge' retirements on this board looking for attention only to come back days later.
4. Uses homophobic terms as insults and routinely makes fun of those with mental issues and has told me to kill myself numerous times...

Yeah...I am the one that needs to stop posting. You are the embarrassment.

Congratulations. Two of you hijacked Allen's thread once again. There's another forum on this site dedicated to people like the two of you.

turdboy's morning routine.

1. Wakes up after dreaming about me,
2. Immediately runs to computer and visits this site, which he isn't a fan of WVU.
3. Sees if I posted.
4. Responds to post whether or not it has anything do to with him or not.

And Allen starts about 20 threads a day...he will be fine...whatever will we do with a thread trolling bucky that got derailed by a dumbass like you?

The board will be okay...you on the other hand....will remain a low IQ jackass that needs message board attention.

Now go away...no one wants your low IQ posts here.

No, but that would be a non-negotiable point with any conference they talk to. That might affect interest from the Big 10 or they might ask for a sizable cut of that revenue.
