Which victory was better? 2016 or 2007?

Better victory? The 2016 win or the 2007 win?

Austin's field goal over a Heisman favorite Louisville team or Woodson to Stevie game-winning TD against Brian Brohm's team?

Also, think about what this "could" mean for the program. What if Stoops is the type of Bowden-esque program changer we've all been dreaming of? Sure, we've a long way to go yet.....and a ton of unknowns left unanswered....but this game at a critical moment in yr 4 of a young HC's career is a possible turning point.

Clearly this year was the much bigger win as the 2007 year for them was not a good year. Won 6 games that year and was lucky to win those. Won 4 games that year against Div 1 teams in the Big Least. 3 of those wins were just by a possession. The only big win of the teams they won against was NC State and when they played think they were 1-3.

We won 8 games that year, 7 in the regular season but underperformed. Still had wins over LSU, Arkansas and Louisville that year.

We played big that year in big games. Wish we played like we did against LSU in every game. But our depth was so small it was hard to bring in guys to sustain what the starters was doing.

2007 was a bigger win but this might be bigger for the program. Stoops has recruited at a much higher level than anyone else has here. Brooks didn't leave the program in very good shape.

I'd include 2002 in the conversation. That was the year that Louisville was trying to hype Dave Ragone as a Heisman candidate. Jeremy Caudill broke Ragone's spirit with a big sack late in the game as we upset the Cards at the Pizza Pit.

This was unexpected and really put a stamp on one of our more successful seasons.

The win today was not just a win against Louisville, but we get a road win against a team that was recently ranked top 5, has the potential Heisman winner, and we get to close out our regular season on a high note for only the third time in the last few decades.

Plus, we had lost this game. This was about to end just like the Georgia game 2 weeks ago. We snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.
