Good for him!!! What a career. Seems like a long time ago when they made the jump from the MWC to the Pac10

Were we really hoping we were playing an unmotivated team?
Let’s not be desperate. Hopefully some of the new coaches show great motivation and we win outright against a motivated team

Beating NU will be a good story, like the interim at PSU. Going for the onside up 3 scores and crying they won.

Will retire after the Las Vegas Bowl. Guess his guys will be extra motivated to win for him.

Huskers have nothing to worry about. Per Phil Snow it was all Butler’s fault. Phil further went on to report he has found the cure for Husker defensive insufficiencies . He has placed the best Defensive Line Coach in the country in charge of the D Line during bowl preparations. That coach is none other than Matt Rhule.

I have to admit that I am not the slightest bit excited for this game. I hope I am wrong, but all the metrics point to us getting beaten soundly. But maybe we can put together a great game and pull off the upset. That would be sweet. But when was the last time we defied expectations and actually beat a really good team?

They have a really poor run defense. That gave me some hope until we lost our best running back. 🙃🤦‍♂️

If we were as healthy as last years bowl game I’d feel better about maybe winning this game but under the circumstances I’m hoping we can keep it under 2 TD’s.

He loved Utah, the state. Like, it was just his perfect place he said.
It was my understanding that he approached eichorst about the Nebraska job after Bo was fired, but eichorst was a Wisconsin plant and did was Barry suggested

The Dline coach sucks.

Our players never played with their hands this all the open holes.

Linebackers were no better .

Can't be any worse. ..lol

Had more to do with taking Nebraska because of their traveling fan base more than Illinois does.

Is that still a thing? I know we as fans like to still claim that. But I remember it being thrown around a bunch last year and then seeing our bowl game look half empty on TV.

Vegas gets the 3rd pick after the Citrus and ReliaQuest, before Music. and they picked accordingly.
