Should be extra motivated, but they’ve lost 5 straight bowl games. We lost 502 straight to ranked teams (give or take). Someone’s streak is ending.
Hmm.. we are 17 point dogs, have a backup QB playing, backup RB, and have Rhule as our coach… I will say their bowl loss streak is gonna be more likely to end….

He loved Utah, the state. Like, it was just his perfect place he said.

Huskers have nothing to worry about. Per Phil Snow it was all Butler’s fault. Phil further went on to report he has found the cure for Husker defensive insufficiencies . He has placed the best Defensive Line Coach in the country in charge of the D Line during bowl preparations. That coach is none other than Matt Rhule.
I have to admit that I am not the slightest bit excited for this game. I hope I am wrong, but all the metrics point to us getting beaten soundly. But maybe we can put together a great game and pull off the upset. That would be sweet. But when was the last time we defied expectations and actually beat a really good team?
They have a really poor run defense. That gave me some hope until we lost our best running back.
If we were as healthy as last years bowl game I’d feel better about maybe winning this game but under the circumstances I’m hoping we can keep it under 2 TD’s.
It was. But it didn’t equate to anything. Let’s just hope some new assistants deliver some energy and develop. Or rhule will just waste more of our time till he gets the boot
It was my understanding that he approached eichorst about the Nebraska job after Bo was fired, but eichorst was a Wisconsin plant and did was Barry suggested

Had more to do with taking Nebraska because of their traveling fan base more than Illinois does.
Is that still a thing? I know we as fans like to still claim that. But I remember it being thrown around a bunch last year and then seeing our bowl game look half empty on TV.
They beat Cincinnati 45-14 at home and they beat KU in Lawrence 31-21.Checks to see if Utah is ranked

Vegas gets the 3rd pick after the Citrus and ReliaQuest, before Music. and they picked accordingly.
Their defense is susceptible to a good rushing attack. Unfortunately for us, we won’t have the only rushing threat we had all year.
