NFL hands down. Football in general provides the dumbest and most insane groups of fans. They often get too drunk at games and are the most likely group to fight.

Never been to NASCAR or soccer but it's the NFL and it isn't close. It would have to be really, really cheap and really, really convenient for me to go to an NFL game again.

I'll never attend another NFL game. It's not worth it and you deal with too many drunk and loud idiots that do not know how to handle themselves in public.

It's too much money to worry about some retard sucker punching you in the bathroom (like the two gangsters at the 49ers stadium last year) or some drunk cursing and spilling his beer while you're with your kid.

It has to be soccer for the World Cup bandwagon fans. Doesn't matter that they only crawl out every four years....they find a way to make their impact.

"IT'S REALLY CATCHING ON YOU GUYS"

"SO HUGE RIGHT NOW, GET ON BOARD OR GET LEFT BEHIND"

"F THIS STUPID COUNTRY, CAN'T UNDERSTAND REAL FUTBOL SO THEY WATCH PEOPLE BASH HEADS"

"I'M NOT SURE THERE IS A TASTIER HUMAN BEING THAN CRISTIANO RONALDO ON THIS PLANET"

"MLS IS GONNA BE HUGE YOU GUYS, SERIOUSLY JUST WAIT, SO SOON"

And so on.

NFL games are not kid friendly. The Colts are maybe an exception. The Bengals are probably one of the worst.

I'm going to say NFL, Cleveland gets a special nod, but I've been to one nascar event and there is no way I'll ever attend another. It was 2/3 normal people and 1/3 Hills Have Eyes people.

Just because there are 50x as many football fans as soccer fans, doesn't excuse those whiny turds. You may just have to deal with it more.

What a sanctimonious bunch. They care way too much about what others think. I know tons of people hate Basektball, Pro and College.. I hear the gripes constantly. And it never bothers me, because I completely understand some people hate the high, meaningless, scoring of each game. So I just don't talk about it anymore...

But NOOOO.. soccer fans just can't let it go, that some people just don't like it.

NHL fans aren't far behind.

College football fans. But I don't attend a lot of games of any sports, so I'm mostly talking about online behavior.

In the US, the NFL by a lot.

Worldwide, we have some catching up. Soccer ref in Brazil pulled a gun yesterday.

NFL...and it ain't close. Dallas (never been to Indy but could see that as well) is about the only place in the league you can wear an opposing teams jersey without being worried about getting your *** kicked.

Eh, hecklers are everywhere. If you're in enemy territory, wearing another teams jersey, you're going to get comments. How you respond to them determines if you're going to get your *** kicked. I don't think that's synonymous with NFL. I''ve seen that at baseball and basketball games. Though, I will admit, the tailgating aspect of the NFL certainly doesn't help haha.

I got in two altercations, very minor ones, when Kentucky played Maryland back in 2012 at the Barclay's Center, and that was a neutral court. I've had issues wearing Manhattan gear to a damn Siena game... It's just going to happen. Everyone's a tough guy when it's 100 on 1.

Soccer.

Has any other sport incited the deaths of over 70 spectators? Players murdered on the field? Referees beheaded?

The answer is soccer.

Except Americans don't really give a crap about soccer so that doesn't apply in the states. Overseas though? Absolutely.

To me their not the worst, but I've always found the uber-stat-toting MLB fans annoying. "What was the pitching count during the bottom of the 3rd inning in the 1947 playoff game, blah, blah, blah, blah?"

Yeah soccer fans and it isn't close. Lots of deaths involved. Here are some excerpts from a few articles.

Victims were caught up in rioting following incidents on the field between fans from neighboring Sivas and the home crowd from Kayseri. 44 were killed and 600 injured. Apparently, guns, knives, and other weapons were used.

Following the victory, thousands of Al-Masry spectators stormed the stands, violently attacking Al-ahly fans, and also the club’s players. They used weapons – knives, clubs, bottles, fireworks, even swords. At least 79 people died and more than 1,000 were injured.

The referee disallowed a Peruvian goal two minutes from time, sparking protests from the fans. Their protests soon turned into a full-blown riot and 318 people were killed in the ensuing violence, with more than 500 major injuries.

A riot broke out Sunday night outside of a major soccer game in Egypt, with a stampede and fighting between police and fans killing at least 25 people, authorities said.

There is much more of this out there. I'd take my chances with a bunch of drunk idiots over what soccer fans do.

1. NASCAR. - Because people actually get worked up over cars going in a circle, nobody owns a shirt with sleeves and people walk around with GD race car numbers tatted on their calves and upper arms. Redneck/normal human ratio is way too high.

2. Soccer - Euro trash takes it too seriously and kills over it. American fans get too butthurt that nobody over here gives a damn about their boring game except for maybe once every four years (until the U.S. team is bounced from the World Cup.)

3. NFL - I hear it's rough but I've never had an issue. But, I've only been to Cincy dressed in Bengals gear though. I would not go to Pittsburgh or Baltimore dressed like that. I do like the fact that the NFL isn't kid-friendly because a) I don't have kids, so therefore I really don't care about yours, and b) Nothing effs up a drunken good time more than someone's uncontrolled spawns that you can't cuss in front of.

NFL nothing worse than a stadium full of morbidly obese adults in Football jerseys, drunk on light beer.

I would say that soccer would be world wide.

The NFL is pretty bad. It is hard to take your kids to a game without all of the extra activities going on besides the play. People are idiots and have no control around alcohol at the games. Some need a cut off of one sip if it is going to make them lose all class and dignity at the games.

We have had great luck at college football and basketball games. I took my son to a few games at Rupp last season and he loved every minute of it. His reaction of meeting Towns was great.

But UK fans are horrible. My wife knows now not to be around me after a loss. Usually it takes a few days to get over it for me. Still not sure if my household has stopped mourning the final four from last season. Stupid Badgers.

Go to Morgantown and watch a WVU football game as a opposing fan and get back with me. If they win you get heckled pretty good. If they lose prepare to fist fight at least one time before you get to your car! Ive been pelted with batteries, coins, rocks, drinks, etc..had my car vandalized...been in fights...its freaking crazy! I wouldnt recommend EVER taking a kid to one of their games. Its not the fans in the stands usually, its the drunk dumbasses that live close to campus that say "Hey we lost lets go down to the parking lot and whip their *** and vandalize their cars". After that pregnant LSU fan got assaulted in the parking lot, I think the B12 got on their *** about security but I would have to see it to believe it.

GO BACK TO 2008 WHERE YOU BELONG!

Honestly, no ill towards Siena, always root for local teams after Manhattan/Kentucky. Iona has been the thorn in our side for nearly a decade, but we got got the upset and NCAA Bid two years in a row now.

It's a real shame Pearl St. is a dumpster fire now. Used to be a fun area to go out in after events as at the Knick/Pepsi/TUC.

Damn dude... you nailed it. I moved from Cincinnati to Indianapolis, and I've attended both stadiums from nosebleed to club section. The difference is night and day. In Cincy, I was always on edge. Head on a swivel, hoping I don't get jumped by a drunk 'neck. Indianapolis has it's share of drunks, but I'll actually take my nephews to the games without worrying about my safety.

That said, NFL fans are the lowest common denominator. Can only imagine what a game in Oakland is like.

Cincy fans are a bunch of dicks. We went a couple of years ago when they played the Cowboys. There were a lot of Dallas fans there, but not in our section. We had really good seats. This jackass ran his mouth behind me and my wife the whole time. I didn't say anything because I paid a lot for the tickets and hotel so I didn't want to get thrown out. Cowboys win on a last second fg and I turn around to say something to the guy then and what do you know the ******* had already hit the steps.

At the risk of sounding like a douchebag soccer fan, anyone who types "futbol" sounds like a complete jackass. All you're typing is "football" in Spanish.

Do you say "basquetbol" when referring to Spanish basketball?

Sorry, I don't keep up with soccer and I don't know the prefered nomenclature.

Have only made it to one Siena and UAlbany game and you're right about Pearl St, could use a little sprucing up around there. Jr. is coming up in Dec, so hopefully can hit up a game down in Fordham and possibly your Alma Mater Manhattan. Really want to check Rose Hill Gym at Fordham.

Any golf fan who wears golf shoes to tournaments.
Do people do that? Is the idea that they're being easier on the course than regular shoes? :eek:kay:Guess they don't know anyone that can't afford FootJoy and just plays in Nike....
