Found an article that was less than flattering.

Loggains, who has served as South Carolina's offensive coordinator since 2023, will leave the Gamecocks after a brief tenure. While his time in Columbia was marked by steady progress on the offensive side of the ball, it was clear that both Loggains and the South Carolina program were ready for a change. His efforts to develop quarterback Spencer Rattler and stabilize the Gamecocks' offense were notable, but the offense struggled with inconsistency during his time in charge.

Hardly a ringing endorsement, and it was expected from both sides? Seems odd to get a HC job if that was the case.
I think we send App State a nice Christmas Gift basket and a heartfelt thank you note.

This is the easiest out ever.

If Beamer can make a strong OC hire AND replace Teasley, it could do a world of wonders for offense.

TBH, it seems like App State is shooting kind of low.

Personally, I think talent is more important to success than who the coordinator is.

Exhibit A - Whammy Ward.

We will miss DL. We were getting players for his pro style offense. He made good adjustments in game. Hope we get a good replacement.

Truthfully, whoever it is, a decision just needs to made fairly quickly. We have so much momentum with recruits and need a leg to stand on with portal season open. Do not drag your feet with this.

Unless he has or has had someone lined up such as an internal hire, don't expect anything to happen quickly. I believe the only time Beamer has moved quickly is when Satterfield was hired, and that was essentially a knee-jerk hire when Bobo left.

this needs to be a no-brainer hire. We missed a chance last time to make a serious upgrade. This time we’re a top 15 program with a QB who will be in the Heisman conversation.

A rising name is Casey Woods. SMU OC and son of former Gamecock head coach, Sparky Woods. I wanted him last cycle.

It would be nice if we had some consistency at that position, but we do have a chance to make a serious move here. Whoever we hire, I'd like the reaction from the national media to be "that makes sense" and no "who?".
I have no idea if he is attainable or not, but SMU can outspend any program if they so wish.
Their money is insane and obscene.
