Towles. Stoops showed his hand yesterday regarding the QB situation.

Towles gets 95%. Barker may get 1-2 series in 2nd quarter. Or Towles may look so good "in practice" this week that he plays the whole game no matter what.

Who should or who will?

Should = Barker
Will=. Towles

Towles I'm afraid will get the majority of the snaps as long as he is at UK.

Hope Barker transfers. I wouldn't put up with watching a terrible QB play in front of me. No way, no how.

I'd give it to Barker based solely on the fact that he doesn't slide everytime he runs the ball.

Pat's slide coming up 1 yrd short for a needed first down was a ***** play IMO.

I would bet. They'd both get about the same again. But I think it's time to adjust offense to compliment barkers abilities... He's obviously the more accurate. Esp in short passing game. And I would argue both the faster and better decision maker

I think Barker starts. Thing is he is a RS FR and when Towles went back in he had a chance to be mature and supportive and he sat there with a pout face, poor wittle baby!

Anyone who watches football should have noticed the game was too fast for him to do anything but tuck and run, and even then he wasn't getting much accomplished.

Now that said, a full game against acharlotte could get him enough experience to handle a UL defense that is solid. And that should be the game plan, do what will best prepare us for UL.

If it were me, I would start Barker and play him the entire game against Charlotte. Then evaluate whether he is efficient enough to make him the QB we need to be putting all our efforts on.

The same again? What? Towles played 70% of the game last night.

Towles - 10/26 for 67 yards 0 TD 1 INT
Barker - 5/8 for 60 yards 1 TD 1 INT

I have no idea how it is that hard to figure out who the better QB was last night. Yet they pull Barker and put Towles back in.

This coaching staff is absolutely remedial.

As long as Dorian Baker is suspended im fine...kid a class A quitter
I noticed the same. Missed a key block on a pass in the flat to King, resulted in a 5 yard loss. Next play misses another block while towles scramble to gain yardage. PT was tackled a couple feet from Baker, baker just looked down at him and never helped him up. He also quit on a slant route in the end zone that would've been 6 in the 1st qtr, ball went through the end zone! He's quit almost to the point I feel as though he is trying to cost us games. I think he's done with playing with PT and is trying to show he'll only play for barker.

It goes to show there is dissension in the locker room imo. His lack of effort and quitting should be grounds for suspension Baker For the record I feel drew should get the start Saturday. PT has had his chance
