Just watched my Rockets get eliminated.. Again. They are the modern day Utah Jazz or Phoenix Sun... I'm a Jets fans who had to watch the Pat's and Giants win 8 of the last 18 superbowls... And my Mets just suck and have choked away several chances with Wright and company, now wasting Degrom and Syn..

Someone here has to have worse teams, right? Right??

All my favorites have won a title more recently than yours except for NFL.

Bengals - no titles
Braves - one title the past 50+ years despite winning division 100 years in a row. lol
Celtics - most titles ever, last in '08, getting close to another in my opinion...

You win.

Perception:
Atlanta braves
Chicago cubs

I grew up in the 70's and though the reds stink and have done so for 20 years, I still find myself thinking "You should never, ever lose to the cubs or the braves".
Reality:
Cincinnati pro teams are terrible due to management, ownership, whatever...

The worst city is Cleveland right? I mean Lebron is the only thing good that has ever happened to them in any sport and he seems to just want nothing to do with them.

My Fremantle Dockers are struggling this year, but as far as other rooting interests go, I'm hoping my Tyumen Legion can pick up the slack lol

Worst city is Atlanta

Hawks haven't made conference finals since 1960
Braves last made the World Series in 1999.
Falcon made but lost Super Bowl in 2016
Had a hockey team so bad they relocated to Winnipeg

That's no championships and only one championship game in 20 years. No other city with the 4 major sports hasn't won a championship.

2nd place is DC.

Cleveland was the first in my mind. Their fans are terrible and they deserve it though.

For an overall market, currently you would have to put Phoenix at or near the top of the list.

Suns....worst team and organization in NBA and seemingly happy to be that.
Coyotes....most people in Phoenix don't realize they have a hockey team, or care
Cardinals...historical irrelevance other than Super Bowl appearance 10 years ago.
Diamondbacks....when compared to the other 3 teams they would be the "model of success" relevant in their sport but certainly not elite.

Mets have great pitching right now (although they are inconsistent this year) but cannot hit the ball at all.

My father was Head Coach at Garden in the early 80’s. We played at TW the first year they had a football team. The team had to change in the woods beside the football field. Usually back then you changed in the gym, but I don’t know the reasoning for not being able to go inside.

And the city gets demerits for the way the Falcons choked away that Super Bowl. Given just how big that game is in this culture, that has to be the biggest choke in sports history. That or the Seahawks Super Bowl brainfart....

Cincinnati only has 2 pro sports teams, but I’d put them up there for the worst now. I only occasionally keep up with NFL and MLB, but seems like the Reds and Bengals are always in the bottom of their divisions. Haven’t really had any success in about 30 years.

I am going with San Deigo. The Padres lost in their two world series chances and the Chargers lost their only Superbowl. That's pretty awful given the age of those franchises (roughly 50 years).

Only two professional teams I really am diehard for are the Reds and Ravens. Reds have 1 championship in 29 years, the Ravens have two in the last 20.

Atlanta. The City of Atlanta showed the Braves. They treated the Braves like **** once too often. The Braves built a new stadium in Cobb County and moved the whole shibang.

I’ve got Blue Jays, Maple Leafs, Broncos and Raptors. A mixed bag.
Yes the Broncos suffered two of the worst SB losses in history, but only 5 franchises have more than the Broncos 3 SB wins. These past two seasons are the first in 40 years the Broncos have endured back to back losing seasons. So now name the teams in a 32 team league who have never won a SB. There are a whole bunch.

Yes the Reds have been awful for a quarter century, but they have won 3 WS in my lifetime.

The Bucks won a single NBA title back when they had two young stars in Kareem and Oscar Robinson. Its amazing that they didn't win more with those guys.
Oscar wasn't young, he was 34 in 1972... and an old 34... played a TON of minutes.

in addition, the Lakers with West and Wilt were in the way for a few years... not exactly chopped liver themselves
