I mean they don’t have a weakness. I have no idea how we beat them. I love them crushing bama. I imagine golden is gone
Where would Golden go? I think he has almost all his players returning.

Golden has a lot of west coast ties, so maybe he decides to take on UCLA or USC if they pony up, if they become available. Otherwise there’s not a great incentive to go to IU.

I think we’re going to see a shift to bigger cities and the blue bloods struggling to keep up. At least Lexington has direct flights to NYC and is a manageable distance to Atlanta, Chicago, Nashville, etc.

They are losing their best players in Martin and Clayton. Also Richard , a starter is gone too. So their entire backcourt. They'll take a step back next year for sure.

Anonymous (the poster with the Vendetta avatar) wondered whether he might bolt for the NBA. If the evidence against home was credible, I could imagine him being under some pressure to start over new somewhere else. Just a WAG.

We beat them because 1) we played our best game of the season and still only barely beat them at home 2) they were still starting the muscular unskilled big because they didn't realize how good haugh was, especially when combined with condon.

Can we give Haugh enough NIL to have him transfer? That guy has moves and so much talent.

I love him but condon is even better. No way he isnt a top 10 player in cbb. He can do everything.

Just a sophomore too. Unbelievable.

I think we will really be hard to beat in the tournament unless the starting guards are really off that night. We do miss too many free throws at times though.

UT routed them by 20 Feb. 1. We'll see how they do in the rematch tomorrow.
Florida beat UT by 30 in the game following the game when we beat Florida- I believe there may have been an injury involved in the second matchup that ut won...
Tennessee only managed 43 points in that 30 point beat down. Tomorrow will be a bad day for the volunteers.

I believe it was UT that was playing without someone actually when UT put the beatdown on UF.
EDIT: Believe it or not Zeigler did not play!

I don't know why Golden would leave unless he really thinks IU is some better job.

He'd have a stranglehold on Florida/deep south basketball recruiting. Things could be pretty nice for him down there.
This. Where would he go that’s a step up outside of one of the blue bloods opening up or the NBA.

Houston and Florida are the two teams I think will either play in the title game or in the Final Four. Depending on how they set it up. I'm convinced they'll have us a 3 seed in Florida out west as the 1 seed. We will be the three there.

Florida went ICE COLD and lost badly at UT shorthanded, but the Vols were never in it from tip off at Florida. I'd say Florida's A+ game beats any one else's A+ game out there, when they are on this year. Yep. But if they go cold, a bad game? They're as capable of beating themselves as anyone else out there. 😉

I'd personally find it a wildly successful and crazy as hell season if we actually got to an elite eight to play to go to the Final Four against them. Having to play them in the elite eight game would be nutz of a rollercoaster year, to have it end there. :D

but would it ? I'd take that chance right now, if they set it up that way. So be it.

Go Big Blue !
