Why do you say that? The most recent Dem poll I could find is late Feb but it has Justice leading 32%, Goodwin 25% and Kessler 23%.

There will be so much crap come out about him, not paying debtors, taxes, etc. He didn't even attend the debate last week. As time goes by, his numbers will drop. He's a Republican with a D behind his name. I could be dead wrong, but that's just the way I see it.

What's cole's relationship w mountaineer athletics ?

I'm not sure. I'll ask him tonight.

We won't see another Gov that gets involved at WVU like Manchin did for a long time, as long as Gee is President.

Justice will win. Wait until they ask Goodwin why he FAILED to go after the mine inspectors who have blood on their hands because Blankinship was stuffing their pockets with money.

Can you prove this?

I don't have to prove anything. Anyone with half a brain knows why Blankinship was allowed to operate with all the problems the Feds found at his mines. Goodwin is nothing more than a WV political animal whose decisions are all governed by politics.

Your pick is for "business as usual" in good ol West Virginia. You folks deserve what you get. Highest rate of overdose deaths in the country, last in ALL measures of quality of living categories in the U.S.

Of course you can't prove you claim. It's a message board and you can spew any nonsense that you want. Carry on.

I didn't take it as his endorsement of Booth, only that's who he thought would win - the original question and his response directly to it. Lighten up Francis.

Own it. You don't see me on here accusing state and/or federal mine inspectors of taking bribes.

I do "own" it. It's my opinion as to why Blankinship was allowed to operate the way he did. You don't think something was amiss?

He will support Goodwin just like I will support Justice.

My bad......my apologies. I'm still voting for Justice, I'm tired of "business as usual" in WV. I want someone that will do what they say they will. Justice has proven that he can get it done.

When did he ever say he would not pay his bills?

Justice has a HORRIBLE reputation for not paying subs.

I met a sub that did hundreds of thousands in work at the Greenbrier before the first Classic, and was getting stiffed on the vast majority of it.

He's well known for not paying his bills. Making contractors sue him is just one example. He's often on the wrong side of things where I work. I will follow up on this tomorrow after I do some checking.

Wow, I never knew that about him. All I know is that he seems like a doer instead of a career politician.

It's easy to do lots of big things when you don't have to pay for them.

He comes off to me as a complete buffoon and someone who would be a horrible face for WV nationally. Then again, Manchin or Earl Ray aren't exactly men that I am proud to have had as governors either. Is it really that hard to find people in WV who can act like they weren't born in a barn? Maybe so.
