Its sad really. This is a message board. I can't think of a single thing that would make me email or message a mod and get somebody banned. Especially with the ignore feature.

Nothing's worse than when a regular mod venture over here and sees our filth. 70% of the good Paddock material would get you banned on Rafters.
i got a short ban for language once. a poster turned me in for jokingly calling him a commie pinko gaf
Boston has hit me for language a few times.
Got two days for making fun of the HoB and the mods for taking down my John Wall commitment thread, placing the news on HoB, and then allowing me to put it back up on rafters so it looked like they had the news first.
Was at one point indefinitely banned as a way to get me to answer an email from Dawson regarding a sig making fun of Maggard. He had apparently threatened to take action or some ****, so they wanted it gone, but I registered here under an email I didn't use anymore and had no idea.
Have deserved it several times on Rafters, but they seem to let it slide.

Making fun of Maggard was a sport unto itself. He was the biggest ripest target in the history of the internet. His little band of groveling lemmings made it all the more enjoyable. To know with a 100% degree of certainty that they were fools being conned and get a front row seat to watch it all unfold was good stuff.
Jones has adopted many of Maggard's tactics. That one I did not see coming but he should be forced to pay Maggard royalties.

Back in January, 2008, I was invited to a UK vs UofL party hosted by Marc Maggard at his then-house on Lake Travis near Austin, but could not attend. Still have the invitations in my email. It seemed odd he owned a place out there, let alone in TX.
In June, 2012, I visited Bowling Green. At the time, Maggard owned a bar on the square called the "Twisted Tap", which I checked out. Heh, later that day, my cousin and his son showed up after they finished work. The bar offered $5 all-you-can-eat catfish. We got drunk as hell. My cousin's son picked up one of the waitresses and took her home. Since cous was tore up, I had to drive his car. What a day.

It should because 90% of Jones' MO now is directly copied from Maggard. I think Jones himself once admitted that he found MM to be fascinating and to give him credit he was. Maggard purely invented himself. I immediately saw through him the first time I ran into him and called him out on his BS background and I had a big hand in having him ran off of DD and he hated me for that. I really watched from afar his dealings after that. I knew all those he came into contact with were being conned and it absolutely amazed me that they couldn't see through the guy. He was so over-the-top full of **** and lies that I couldn't believe folks bought into the made-up character he was selling.
He spun a background in wedding photography and working on a cruise ship into being a basketball "scout" and managed to con the pants off a lot of idiots, and they deserved it because if it wasn't Maggard then some other con was going to fleece them.
I wonder how many bought that "lifetime" pass to his keen recruiting info website? LOL. I wonder what they use if for now?
Yep. There were a lot of good people there with NJ, DK, and others. It stunk how he let that place fall apart and how he treated everyone.
Katman was absolutely great, you just had to know him. One of my favorite people I've ever ran into on the internet. The problem was after Tubby they just spun off into some ugly stuff and walled themselves up into something horribly bad. Rupsrafters started making all sorts of insane accusations. I think he may even have purchased the place from Katman. I don't really know because I left when it got weird and so did a chunk of their best posters and the board wasn't that big to begin with.
