I would have said Spurrier until he retired. I think Petrino is currently the biggest jerk. Of course, both those guys have won a lot of games.

So far we have Spurrier, Petrino, Saban, Meyer and Harbaugh. Sensing a trend here?

IMO, hands down, petrino. Also, I wonder if those who selected Saban, Meyer, Harbaugh, or Spurrier, would mind if they coached at UK. Not trying to start any kind of an argument, but a lot of successful people, not just coaches, have huge egos, and come off as jerks. I love coach Cal, but I bet his named would be mentioned on other sites.

Meyer without question. Had career ending medical issues at UF but all of the sudden he is head coach at Ohio St. He is a scumbag

No contest. It's Bobby Neckbrace. His "incident" at Arkansas left him pretty much unhirable by anyone besides Turtleneck. At every stop he's ever coached, Bobby Neckbrace has performed the equivalent of taking a massive dump into a paper bag, putting it on his boss's front porch, setting fire to it, then ringing the doorbell and running away. The best part is that he's already done this once to Turtleneck, and will do it again the first chance he gets.

Harbaugh would get my vote though a Nick Saban press conference down in Alabama is as entertaining as a Belichek press conference as far as sheer jerkdom. That handshake he had when coaching the 49ers after beating the Lions coach was pure *** and a preview of coming attractions. He seems to create enemies where there are none.

Petrino in terms of just being an awful person in general. When it comes to arrogance and singular focus on winning at any costs it's probably Urban.

Bret Bielema is a POS and doesn't have near the success as others mentioned on this thread
He's my vote

If by massive dump into a paper bag you mean winning so many games that he's given the AD the ability to expand the stadium twice, from 42,000 to 65,000, thereby allowing UofL to upgrade to the Big East and eventually the ACC, then I agree.

Nope....you know the kind of massive dump I'm talking about. Like the kind he left at UaVel the first round....the kind he left in Atlanta...and most certainly the shitstorm he left Arkansas with. Just because he wins games doesn't take the stench away, and the fact that Turtleneck and UaVel fans welcomed this sack of dung back with open arms confirmed everything I already knew about them, not to mention keeping Piteener on board after running a strip club and ***** house for recruits out of an on campus dorm.

You're being a bit coy. No doubt, he has won at UL in both tenures (though he has not beaten very many good teams during either stent). No doubt, he left the program (and every program he has ever left behind) in bad shape the last time. Time will tell if that changes this time around.

That's what I'm talking about with UaVel fans. No ethics, no shame. You've proved it repeatedly, and then take offense when someone calls you on it. Just own up and say that you don't give a touch what type of trash you drag in to coach, or sign to play.

Careful there Hoss. There is a very large contingent of UK fans who wanted/still want Petrino to coach here. The ones who say "Just win baby" or "This is big time football, everybody cheats"

He suffered the Coach K Syndrome when he realized the "convicts' were running the prison!!! Remember Coach K's mysterious back ailment when he realized Duke had some serious flaws & he wasn't able to fulfill his coaching duties? To compound that circumstance, defeats suffered by Duke that year, don't count against coach K's record!!!! Amazing simply amazing!!!

Lets accept petrino for what it is, he is by no means a moral saint, but neither is calipari or saban or any other big name coach. Its a crappy thing to say but they are not paid to be saints, they are paid to do a job and they do that job very well. Its the nature of the business that people are willing to overlook things ( not defending his actions here) in order to gain an advantage on the field/court. Its a business first kind of structure. That being said I would give my award for this topic to Buddy stephens as well, idk if he was playing it up for the cameras or what but he literally fought an official one game....

It's not an issue of "morals" with Bobby Neckbrace, it's an issue of ethics, as in him being a pathologically lying, ethically challenged sack of dung. That total package was never displayed better than in his final days at Arkansas, when it was revealed that:

* Bobby Neckbrace hired a woman he was banging into a cushy job in the athletic department so he could go on banging her, I suppose right under the nose of her fiance, who also happened to work in the UA athletic department.

* Bobby Neckbrace took her on that now infamous Harley ride, had an "accident" (still not 100% convinced that her fiance didn't give him a good *** beating after maybe forcing him off the road).

* Bobby Neckbrace then tried to get a member of the Arkansas Highway Patrol to lie about the "accident" and leave Ms. Dorrell out of the report.

* Bobby Neckbrace lies through his teeth to (in no particular order) his boss, his family, his players, the media, and the Arkansas fans about his "accident" even though (and this is my favorite part because it shows the SOB can't help himself when it comes to lying) he knows that he's going to be exposed in a matter of days.

* And least but not least, there were rumors that Bobby Neckbrace had texted inappropriate photos of himself to a woman in Little Rock, I suppose trying to do his best Brett Farve imitation.

It was never about "morals". Arkansas didn't care that he was banging someone besides his wife. He would have never been fired if that was all it had been, and I'm sure that doesn't need to be explained to anyone.

I get that UaVel fans don't give two ***** what he's done or may do in the future, but when his name and escapades are bought up in a thread like this, don't act indignant about it. Same goes for Piteener and his restaurant table humping episode, and of course, running a strip club and ***** house out of a dorm with his dead brother in-law's name on it.

Nick Saban was quoted in today’s paper that he didn’t even know election day was Tuesday. Right coach A-hole, your football team’s practice is so much more compelling and important than electing a new president

Wow. Lane Kiffin not mentioned once. Guess he's rehabilitated now.
