OK....so this season is just about over. As of right UofL has no recruited PG coming in. El Ellis is a senior. Very scary position for Coach Payne

KP will have to rely on the portal next year to find a PG and several other positions. It’s absolutely critical. On top of that hand, in my opinion, he needs to clearly demonstrate his style and brand of basketball. What type of team are the Cards going to be? More than words we need to be able to see it.
In normal times this is a good question. But right now we don't know if any of these players or staff will be here this time next year.
Gawd let's hope not... I wouldn't be opposed to BHH, Lands, and James couldn't care less about the rest..
We need guards, especially a couple of good or at least decent PGs. That's the main achilles heel of this team- no true ready PG and lack of guards overall.
If Fabio leaves, Cards will have zero guards and no one at PG. The only confirmed recruits so far are 2 more 6'6 wing guys which won't help where it's needed the most.
If Payne is here next season he has to hit the portal hard and land at least 2 but preferably 3 guards.
