I do. I don't like to look at the negative possibilities like most people on here. I think this season can be turned around! We will see what happens though.

I'd add 2-10 to your list. Still while I certainly don't think it will happen I'm not yet ready to completely rule out the possibility of 6. Lose this coming weekend though, and that ship will have sailed. I would see those 6 coming from Akron, SC, and Vandy with miracles at MSU and against Georgia because that's pretty much what it will take for UK to win 6 - a miracle!

Before the season began I thought 4-8 was as good as it would get and see no signs they will do better than that now. Austin Peay looks to be the only sure win left on the schedule.

6-6 would surprise me at this point. We nearly have to run the table against the teams we should be competitive with in order to get there. Of the games against teams we expected to be in our range of competition, Southern Miss was not the one to drop.

Tall task to get bowl eligible.

After the blowout to Florida I was talking to some of my family members who said 1-11 and 2-10...but I said then and I still think they somehow get to the maddening consistently incosistent 5-7. But it all starts with USC. Lose that then yeah 3-9 is a real possibility.

It's funny to read all the gloom-and-doom on this forum, then go over to a South Carolina forum and read the same stuff. Here, somebody says that Muschamp should be COY if he gets them to a bowl - and they're 2-1.

I love this comment, too: "Sure ECU ran 91 plays but they only scored one TD so they had 90 other plays where they didn't have a TD. Good job Cocks." LOL

If we beat SC I will have faith. That win will show huge progression. We win Saturday I think we get 6 wins.

I'm not trying to be negative, but I highly doubt we get to 6 at this point based on how we are playing. Now, if some changes/adjustments are made and the team starts playing with some sort of fire and determination, then I can see us maybe eeking out 6 wins.

As it stands I see us with 3 wins - NMSU, Vanderbilt, and Austin Peay.

I see Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, and Louisville as guaranteed losses.

We've already lost to SMU and Florida. That leaves South Carolina, Mississippi State, and Missouri as must wins to just get to six wins. Can you HONESTLY say you think we will win those three games based on how we've played and how bad our defense has been?

There is negativity and then there is realism. Watching this defense play I can say without a doubt that we will not win more than 3.

I think we will have to get lucky to win an sec game and honestly the best thing that could happen based on the first three is that we win only two games all season. That's the only way there will be the clarity needed to make changes now not later. A 5-7 season with a decent win in there will guarantee stoops and mitch another year. 2-10 with no one in the stands and we will see the change

It will be extremely difficult to get six wins this year, when our defense is giving up 500 yds to NMST it's just not going to happen I'm afraid. This bend don't break scheme has broken a lot of hearts

Stoops won't even get 6 more wins before he is eventually fired (in whatever year). Because, you know, that buyout thing.
No control of the game, no control of the locker room (probably the biggest failure), lost his recruiting momentum, poor or limited coaching skills, abysmal results with the few wins being eked out against lower competition in games that never should have even been close, declining attendance and apathy by the fan base. Maybe he can turn it around but he hasn't shown any indications of that ability yet.

Good news, Cats fans, Derek Mason is on your schedule. He is the only coach capable of giving Stoops a run for his money. They are 1-1 in head to head matchups. I say the loser of the game resigns on the spot. The winner gets to stick around for the remainder of the season.

Best case 4 wins, worst case 2 wins. I think SC gets more stops than us on defense and Stoopid is worse than Muschamp.

To get to six wins now, we have to win four SEC games (sorry, counting UL as a certain loss). To put this question in perspective, consider that we have won four SEC games in a single season ONE time this century (2006), and not once in almost ten years. Thus, I believe the safe bet would be no, we will not win six this year.

Really? USC is not very good. "Huge progression". Just don't see that.
Got to agree with you on that one Cawood86, UK has beaten an average to below average USC team each of the last 2 seasons and it didn't mean anything. Why is beating a below average USC team this year all of a sudden a "Huge progression"? I honestly don't think beating this USC team means anything unless it's a blowout win for UK and the defense actually shows some signs of life.

Who thought UK would win 6 before the season? I thought six wins would be an incredible achievement for this team. I also thought the inexperienced defense would be better.

I'm buying 6 wins ... we might have to score 40 points or more to get there, but only in four games (not including Austin Peay). Three of these four games are at home ... and two of these are against teams that aren't too good.

On another note, I wish y'all could see just how blue these googles really are!

It's strange you rant for almost two paragraphs that Stoops is toast and then say "maybe he can turn it around." Are you trying to cover all of your base there? LOL

There is no way in fu@king hell this team is going to win 6 games. If you assume they lose at Louisville it would require them to win 4 SEC games, in other words go 4-4 in the SEC. When is the last time Kentucky accomplished that feat. They would have to be perfect against the lousy SEC teams and that ain't likely to happen. Sticking with my pre-season prediction of 4-8.
