that's a 7002 Scuba Diver - and it is a fantastic watch. It's essentially the predecessor of the SKX.

I have a couple of Rolexes but rarely wear them anymore because I’m addicted to the Apple Watch and it’s recording of my activity.
I wear a citizen that looks like the above Rolex. I have a handed down Rolex like that in a safe at home. Insured as well haha.
The Citizen is nice and good enough, I’d pull the Rolex out of I was single again.

It's all I've purchased for quite a while now. I'm pretty harsh on watches and they hold up really well.
Glycine is owned by Invicta now. Was once a really nice mid range swiss company but i can’t help thinking Invicta has cheapened them. Had an Orient Saturation diver that was probably as well made a watch as i’ve ever had. But it was a huge chunk of metal to wear daily. I’ve been thinking about getting another Resco. American made owned I think by a former Seal. But military look may not be your thing. Weiss watches made in LA are nice looking field watches.
The first watch that got me into wearing watches was an Invicta Knockoff of a Rolex Diver.
Guy I started working with a few yrs later had a real one, from a distance looked identical. Not when you got up close and saw the painted on accents

I have a two tone datejust and the Air King stainless that Hyman posted the photo of. But unless I’m wearing a suit and tie I typically wear my Apple Watch.
Well, I guess I'll be the first one in the thread to say nope, I haven't worn a watch now in probably 4-5 years. I used to wear one every day, (nothing overly expensive), but never really liked the "feel" of one on my wrist. Now that I'm semi retired I don't need one anyway. My phone doubles a timepiece when I'm out and about.
Current favorite is my Scurfa Diver One.
Most complimented is the Seiko “seitona”

I got rid of my entry level automatics and regret it to this day. Sold my Seiko 007 and Orient Mako for some reason, and I kick myself daily for it. That 007 on the oyster bracelet was great.
I also had a Glycine, but I sold it too. However, I have no regrets about that one. I can’t recall the model name, but it was the watch in the WUS Glycine forum banner. It was a chronograph, but the thing was so tall on my wrist, I was banging it into everything.
I do have a Smith’s Radio Room watch, and I love the simplicity of it, the little bit of color, on the face, and the history of it.
One day I’d love to own an Omega Speedmaster Pro and a Rolex Submariner.

Growing up I have always wanted a Rolex. Not a watch guy other than wanting one my whole life. Was lucky enough to purchase one a few years ago in July. My first was a datejust 36mm.
But being a Kentucky fan my dream watch was a Bluesy and I was able to snag one this May from my AD.
For me I wear the Bluesy to every UK game. I love it.
But will I buy anymore? I doubt it. I got the one I’ve always wanted.

@Get Bucket$ I was able to add a white dial/Panda Daytona to the collection last March after this thread had chilled out. Pretty cool to get that call….

Bluesy is sick, nice purchase. I wish they made a single tone blue sub in stainless steel.
My AD offered me the yellow gold one but there is no way in heck I could wear that and not feel nervous all the time I was going to ruin it.
Would encroach on the white gold version, but I agree. Tudor has a blue sub type I think but the shade is different.
A friend of mine bought a WG blue Smurf Sub and it is incredible looking.
I haven't worn a watch since I was in maybe the 4th or 5th grade. I hate the feel of anything on my wrists, or around my neck, like a necktie, turtleneck or scarf. I think maybe in a previous life I was hanged as a horse thief or something. My mom would always ask me if I would like a watch for my birthday or Christmas, and I would always say no, and explain why I didn't want a watch. On her last Christmas when she was still fully lucid before Alzheimer's took over, she told me she was going to get me a watch. Again, I told her no, and for the 50th time explained why. Unlike the other times though, she actually bought me one anyway. What could I say....
Yup. Thats probably my favorite watch out there (the Smurf).
Mine is going on 20yrs old. Wife got it for me for my first Father's Day (daugher's 20th b-day is next Friday). Solar powered. Had worn it every day for over 5000 days when the band broke on my back swing at a golf outing. Found the piece from a jewelry store in CA, ordered it, put it back on and i'm back to several hundred days in a row since.
I've had a couple other nice ones that i would wear to nicer functions/night's out. One was a Movado i got in Jamaica and my first nice purchase with my first paycheck out of college was a Wittnauer way back in the early/mid-90s.

I've worked in downtown cincinnati since 1994 and left my watch at home one day (before my G-Shock streak) and went to Lazarus and bought a $50 Fossil watch because i can't go without one. I'll find myself looking at my wrist countless times if i don't have it and it drives me nuts.

Same. I liked the Apple watch idea initially but just too damn connected. Plus my personal # is the # all my reps and distributors have so turning off notifications wasnt an option. Went back to the classic timepiece.
