to return? Now Iowa has conducted an "investigation " and determined there is racial bias and "bullying " in the football program. Several black players said their personalities were being "suppressed " with some of the program rules stopping doo rags...tank tops...earrings...and certain tattoos . Some coaches were not nice enough apparently. As a result the strength and conditioning coach was dismissed and attorneys are involved. This cancel culture...Black Lies Matter...pussyboy crap is killing sport. Let these weenies play their children's game in empty stadiums...turn off the tv...pressure colleges to eliminate scholarships and bring back student athletes.
The "system" of college football is clearly oppressive and racist. We're better off dismantling it altogether and not subject these "student"-athletes to mean things, like....accountability. I'm sure all these lads, as they're often so affectionately called, would be much better off without college sports in their lives.
All the academic and EC waivers they're given during admissions, all the extra tutoring, free (good) food, clothes, incredible medical care, etc.. The system is obviously set up to keep them down.
Let their 2.2 high school GPA, 900 SAT, and zero EC apart from one minor assault that was pled down stand alone.
80% of these athletes are being given opportunities that so many of their peers would run through traffic to have. And I'm not talking about the possibility of being a pro athlete. Half-literate kids are getting free rides to Duke, Stanford, UofM, NW, UCB, UCLA, USC, Rice, UNC, Vandy, ND, etc and are sharing dorms with students who undoubtedly spend more time, effort, and stress to gain admission.
"What did you do in high school?"
"I took 12 AP classes and did the IB program. I was a member of the debate team, chemistry club, Latin club, and robotics club. I also spent 6 hours a week tutoring at-risk elementary students in Oakland and participating in the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra as a cellist. I played one year of soccer even though I didn't want to, but my guidance counselor said it'd look good to round out my application so I could fulfill my dream of attending Stanford to study biomedical engineering. You?
"I mainly hit the gym, fvcked thots, and smoked weed."
