I was so relieved when it wasn't Aidan Chiles. Now I'm . . . still underwhelmed.
Hopefully whoever it is Thomas can help them reach their potential.
When healthy, Pribula can play. The highest ceiling by far belongs to Lagway. Good coaching would make him a special, special player

You dont think Raiola improved under Thomas at all? He was not where any of us wanted but I think he improved from year 1 to 2. Things like holding onto the ball to long had to be a Dylan thing any qb coach would teach to throw it away vs taking a sack.
Lagway has been my #1 due to ceiling and eligibility. Florida didn’t use Lagway right. They took away his legs

I agree about him being misused and i could get behind bringing him in. I do wonder what kind of price tag he will have. Tbh id be cool with any of those guys other than Chiles.
If we are going to spend top 15 $ on a coach who currently has a .370 conference record, $900k on a GM that can’t even recruit a class in the top 100, and $400k on a guy who no one knows what his point is, then why start trying to get ultra conservative on spend now.

One thing is guaranteed...Nebraska will overpay for their next choice.
But not nearly what we would have paid for a real QB. The university isn’t concerned about winning. They want a fat guy on a zip line acting like we are winning.

My guess is that Kentucky offered Minchey more money, his agents then went to Nebraska looking for a counter offer, and our staff (rightly) said no. Minchey is not worth a bidding war. The other scenario is Minchey just blindsided us at the last second, deciding in the end that he preferred to live in Kentucky than Lincoln. Who knows? Either way, good riddance. I never thought he was a great get anyway.

Lagway wants a bidding war before he signs with Florida State. I don't think he's good enough to just out bid everyone else by one million in order to sign him.
Could Colandrea pull off the old play one season in the Go-Go offense and reap the rewards scheme?
I'm not a fan of Chiles after seeing him perform in person, but I think I would take Childs over the other two. But I would pay him less than what he got at Michigan State.
