So many solid options this year but I’ll always vote my old stand by in Naz but the MC Lenti bunch is closing in fast with the CCL only board LWE fans close behind them.
I don’t mind the Warren crew I find them more comical then anything. Do you know how much talent they have?

Well it's been 3 championship games in a row and 5 of 6. Pretty sure the Naz folks will act like they have been there. This is easily the MC crowd.
This isn't little league where everyone gets a trophy. We need a winner.
Carmel has 12 trophies. Why would Naz be more likely to act like they've been there before? It's a great 6 year run but not like a handful of teams haven't done it before.
Because I've read this board a lot this season and plenty MC crowd seem to have forgotten what its like. I know its been 6 years and many of them are in their 70s. Its like trying to talk with a bunch of Bama fans with the arrogance.
You sound like a Nebraska fan talking about how great their program is... they have trouble transitioning from is to was.
When you win that much dont you get to strut some? For me anyways, it's the team that has never won, finally does and now thinks they reinvented the wheel.
People talk crazy all week then when a team wins everyone gets bugged if the winner keeps talking.
Nebraska hasn't done anything since the 90s and no trophies before that and been god awful last 15 years at least.
Last 7 years Carmel has won 2, played in 3 semi, and now a championship game.

Usually people that dont want to hear about past history dont have any.
My point Carmel has done enough long ago and recently to yap some. 99% of schools would kill to have that 7 year run. And carmel has had 3 or 4 of those runs.
So which position are you taking? MC is gonna act like they’ve been there and not trash talk or that they’ve won so much they deserve to trash talk?
Because 1 - I like to take a shot at Nebraska any chance I get and 2 - see reason 1....
For a 3rd reason applicable to MC - the 12 trophies aren’t joining you on the field and provide no points nor defense so they are irrelevant. It’s a different program with a new coach and all new players. What has happened in recent years for Nazareth does have SOME relevance as it’s the same coaching staff and numerous players from last year’s championship team so there is some carryover at least.

My point is sometimes you earn the right to talk. Carmels guys bragging on their success lately and prior is not a big deal to me.
If its personal or completely directed at the other teams misfortune that's a different story.
Carmel is one school you never see trash talk from. Some posters boast a little, and there may be one or two posters who are jerks, but...by and large...having perhaps the biggest collection of fans and posters here, 99% of them are class. Only guy who even sounded like a jerk this year was the drunk who came in and talked crap about Mitch.
True the trophies aren't giving you points. But something to tradition and seeing how things are done when you're a freshman.
Even if you wanted to look at just Lynchs 2 years. A loss in the semis and now a championship game is pretty good. Think most head coaches would kill for those to start out with.

I have no preference on who wins this game. Both fan bases are fun to interact with.
Naz has definitely earned it. They're on a great run. They should enjoy it.
He was saying Carmel is insufferable and I said they kind of have earned the right to be high and mighty.
No doubt about it. I think 7A & 8A are two of the best we have seen paired in a long time.

If PR were to find a way to beat ESL, I’ll bet a nickel their followers would be the least insufferable. I’ve never seen them puff out their chests even when Samson lead them two years in a row. Except for Hinter who was just a bandwagoner, LOL.

Not that familiar with all the schools in the ESCC other than Marist and JCA. Whats up with Nazareth? Talking with two assistant CCL coaches from smaller schools Wednesday last week. The vibe they get from other ESCC coaches in the similar positions is a lot of negative feelings about Nazareth. Is there a basis for this or is just envy?
