MH was shutout by a Pisgah team who beat East Rutherford by 3.I believe Reidsville is really good and want play a close game in the 2a west.If they do no way they would have ever beaten Burns,Hibriten,North Lincoln,or Shelby.

Pisgah also held arguably their projected second toughest opponent, Brevard, to 7 points last week.

Everyone knows the 2AA State Championship goes through Shelby. As far as a team really wanting Shelby....that's got to be fake news. I'm sure all the teams competing in the the 2AA brackets would love to see someone upset Shelby along the way.
In the Western bracket when it gets to the 4th round Shelby will be there and IMO either Burns or NL will be the team that will travel over to Shelby to play them. At that point that team will want Shelby since that is the team standing in their way. This season I think it will NL making that trip to Shelby bringing a much better team than they brought last year in the 3rd rd. Shelby will again be heavy favored...as they should be. Whoever comes out of the West will be the favorite the win the 2AA championship...and it's likely to be Shelby again. But nothing is guaranteed. That's why you play the games.

Randleman has to be the clear favorite from the East. I doubt that they or any other team from the East can beat Shelby, but you lace 'em up and see what happens.

Yea the pick 6 and the personal foul was too much to overcome that game. Then fumbled inside the 3 in OT . that was coaching mistake. That RB had way too many fumbles on the year as good as he was. Canada needed the ball there. But at some point title games wont go in your favor
Football is about matchups. and in the cold things get tougher. It hasn't even got to the cold yet. Wont be many high scores in later november if in the teens. Cant go by who beat who and what the score was. But reidsville will score. I promise everyone that lol. How much we give up is what matters. But Pisgah maybe ok but they wont last long in 2aa. Il eat my words if they make to 4th rd. 3rd rd means nothing. Just a waiste of a season.

How good is Hibriten compared to the year Burns made the trek a few years ago? I think we are a better team than we were that year and Hibriten was very good then but had a weak schedule and managed to run us out of the stadium. of Course we need to beat EL first to get that right of a rematch
One thing I wasn’t aware of at the time...we had 3 starters out for skipping Thanksgiving practice. Inexcusable. It didn’t help. But not to take anything away from Hibriten. They had a really good team. They punched us in the mouth early and we could not recover from being down 28-0. I thought they were going all the way...until they ran into South Point in the 4th round.
Defense is probably a little better offense is not near as explosive as it was then. Should be a good ballgame if we both take care of business Friday.
BBB and I are looking forward to a return visit if we both win like you said. Was a cold night a few years ago!
YES we lost 2 close games to two good teams, but against THE BULLDODS AND GOLDEN LIONS it was TOTAL A?? WHOOPINGS. And the YOUNG MOUNTIES will see both of you next YEAR.

I don't understand the Tville fans running OG down, because in doing so, you are running Tville down.
If OG is bad, then Tville struggled to beat a bad OG team, lost to two teams that got beat by a bad OG team, and has 6 other conference wins against teams that got beat by a bad OG team. That leaves Tville without a single good win all year.
While I don't think either one is winning a championship this year, I prefer to think that OG is pretty good, and so is Tville. Give them both their due.
Until someone can knock off Shelby in Nov/Dec it’s always gonna be them Golden Lions. I mean let’s just sit back and think about what Shelby has done guys in the last 7 years they have won 5 state titles and if they win this year that will be 6 of the last 7 YEARS winning a state title and the 1 game they did loose was in the 4th round to the eventual state champs Hibriten. That’s just crazy to even say out loud. Imagine if this was your school that has had success like this .... well I guess we could all die happy men 
And yes I know that Reidsville has had just as much success but I’m not as familiar with them but do respect the program tho
