I think Vandy should win at home, but not by much. Should be a good early game that should tell us more about how our season should go.

I watched some of Vandy Mizzou game last year, with Vandy winning an ugly low scoring contest. I predict a similar type game this Thursday with Vandy winning by 3 - 7 pts.

Talk about a bad early line...South Point opened this one as one of their "Games of The Year". Their opening (5/18 $1000 limit) line was SC-4. On 5/24 it was a pick 'em and on 5/26 it was at the current line of Vandy -3 or -4. That is a 7 point swing in 8 days!

South Point obviously blew it big on this one and the sharps immediately hit it.

Peace

That is a very unusual swing, with the books losing money, also very unusual.

However, no one accused UK of having a great defense last year and Vandy only scored 21 on us, an interception, a turnover on our five yard line, and a long trick play that is clearly not a football play and one where the intent of the rule is to make it illegal, a Pop Warner type of play.

It has been a long time since we had a scoreless tie, and the rules are against it, still-------

yea but as soon as they hit OT, one team finally gets the ball within field goal range.

True, and obviously my comment was tongue in cheek, but it might take that in this game. Of couuse the Defense can score also, LOL.

Vandy. Vandy has an outstanding defense and South Carolina is in full blown rebuilding mode.

South Carolina doesn't have one playmaker that I can name on offense. Vandy 17-3.

Maybe I'm giving Vandy more credit that I should but I have a feeling they are much better than SC. I'm going with 21-7 Vandy.

Vandy or South Carolina! I believe vandy wins this by a touchdown.

I think its going to be low scoring, Muschamp wasn't a good head coach but he has put some good defenses on the field. So farm, Mason hasn't put a good offense on the field so I think both defenses come out of the game looking better than they really are. Vandy has Webb who might be the best RB no one has heard of, USC is likely going to start a true frosh at QB, a very good athlete who turned down pro baseball to play college football/baseball. He is likely going to be their biggest threat. I am expecting a very defensive game with a key turnover or special team play making the difference. Now watch them both put on offensive exhibitions and combine for over 80 points.

Welp know who I don't got, the eyes of anyone watching. Will be an awful display of offensive football, both will be dreadful moving the ball especially via the passing game.

Vandy will win 4 safeties to 3

new coaches of bad teams historically lose at about a 60% clip ATS. In this case, USCe is the dog anyway so I definitely don't like their chances straight up.

This is a new coaching staff of a team trying to rebuild on the road with none of the 3 units as a strength, against a team that doesn't score many points but at least has one very solid unit - their defense.

I think Vandy can find 3 scores, while USCe may get a garbage touchdown late:

USCe - 7
Vandy - 17

If Kyle Shurmur is for real (and I think he is ..), Vandy wins this one fairly easily.

If you gamble long enough you will learn this, go against the public. Especially if MOST (75-80% of the handle) of the public bets are on one side.

I think vandy wins.. This thread, as well as the handle percentage makes me think USCjr has a much better shot than I Originally thought.

ESPN requires the SEC to provide Thurs night games, especially to start the season. but it is always the same teams, Vandy, USC, Miss St.
Still do not like a conference game this early. The teams are not ready for prime time games yet. And there is too much value in a conference game. Play the OOC schedule early.

Vandy easily. Something like 24-10.

Vandy at least has a good defense, a good RB, and Shurmur I think will be ok. Thinking South Carolina is likely to end up the worst team in the entire SEC honestly. Muschamp blows, and their schedule is set up to go up in flames in a big way.
