I've always thought we should recruit the non-SEC areas to close the gap, but why did it take us 50 years to figure it out? How did Stoops make that his selling point with MB, yet we never figured it out before now. We can't take players that turn down 5 SEC schools in the south to come here and still expect to win. We have had heavy Florida and Georgia recruiters in the past and that philosophy didn't work out. I think that Stoops is on the right track recruiting, but we just have to find the right coach to bring us a winning program.
