Why did we get booth review/overturn on LSU/Auburn game on game clock situation but when UK asked for it 2 years ago in Swamp...we didn't get a booth review (besides SEC can give a crap less about UK)?

You can't review a possible penalty, which the Florida game would have been. The Auburn/LSU game was to see if time had expired on the game.

Wow...I just can't understand the difference between a game clock and play clock violation as they are essentially nearly the same thing. But oh well...good for Auburn.

In our case we got hosed because the SEC protects the big boys. They are the money makers.

There is no such thing as a "game clock violation," it's not a penalty if the game clock runs out. If the game clock runs out the game is simply over, and any plays ran after the clock has hit zero are nil and void. But if the play clock runs out then you are penalized for delay of game and you can't review a play for a possible penalty. LSU had ran a play after the game clock hit zero, which means the play does not count. Florida ran a play after the play clock hit zero which would have been a penalty, which cannot be reviewed.

Isn't a play ran after the play clock runs out null and void?

Delay of game results in the play being blown dead. Therefore, if the play was never blown dead... It was not a void play.

Did the refs miss the call? Yes. Would the refs have been doing the wrong thing by the rules to review? Yes.

Game clock vs play clock is correct but the cosmic reason is that we are UK and stuff like this is what happens to us

They were discussing changing the rule after we got screwed against Florida a couple of years back. Not sure if they did or not.
