Now you got me thinking ... that's a scary thought.
I've disliked Pitt for a whole lot of years. Living in the 'burgh, and witnessing years and years of their frustration with their football coach(es), one major gripe they've had has been a lack of continuity in their program.
Of course, they were always comparing themselves with PSU which had been the epitome of football coaching continuity (at least until 2011). I used to be able to name all of their football coaches during Joe Paterno's regime. Trust me, it was a sizeable list.
Narduzzi has given them 12 years of coaching mediocrity, having a good year or two, some truly epic bad years, but mostly they have been competitive but usually not coming out on top at the end of the season.
I suspect that the Pitt administration, supporters, donors, and fans are content with their football fortunes. I anxiously await to see how they get shafted in Atlanta on Saturday evening.
