Why do old guys comb over?

If it’s all you got to comb, as in my case, it’s either over or back. And back tends to overload the unseen. I don’t like unseen myself, but that’s just me.

I have hair to my shoulders. Rich brun slow curl down the side of the head with some gray frazzled ends.

Got tired of paying barber $12 for 3 minutes work!
Recommend highly ...Nivea gel shave cream and baby lotion to moisturize, but a good after shave moisturizer works good and l use some for smelling good.
My part is in same place it's always been, not down by ear. Just very little to put over the top. But as long as three+ hairs, it's good for my psyche.
So they can see their weiners through the sea of gray when they go peeps.

Mullet to skullet. Somehow taller than my hair now. Humbling. Luckily for me, I have bigger problems to worry about. And a cap.
I am 39 and have been shaving my head for 15 years. My wife has never seen me with hair. I am pretty bald now...but didn't start losing it significantly 28 or 29. I did start thinning on the crown at about 22.
Buzzed it for a year or two and then just went straight razor and made it my thing.
My biggest thing...l'm the youngest of 7 boys @69....oldest is 85 and they all have/ had a head full of hair , but me!
My barber had a great comeback to a question from a customer. Customer says why do you charge me as much as that last fella that had a head full of hair? I’m nearly bald? Barber says because it takes me twice as long to find yours.
