There fan base and it goes back to the Dean Smith era. They thought their sh&t didn't stink and deemed Coach Smith as the best ever even though he only had two nattys gift wrapped and handed to him with all world talent flocking to Chapel Hill year after year. Oh yea and the double standard that Coach Smith was priveledged to from the stripes which there fan base screams about now with Coach K and Duke. I work in health care and most UNC alum are just all around pricks and I have lived here my whole life so I'm entitled to make that statement. OFC

I despise feeding trolls but I would say it still goes back to the double standard K spoke of in '84....I mean for instance can you imagine the ESPN fallout if Grayson pushed the envelope on hanging on the rim the way Brice Johnson does???No pun intended but Brice does have it down to a "T" despite officials refusal to whistle him for it...

Johnson is great no mistake, but plays with an arrogance and/or antics highly conducive to inciting scuffles, incidents...(Need proof- check his controversial stick back dunk with less than a minute to play vs Temple in opening game this year...)JMO, OFC

And influential in judicial branch....One convicted felon connected to school who has never served a day in jail will "testify" as such!!!

Cannot be over-stated how beneficial this is for them. Orange County district attorney Jim Woodall is a unx alum...

Julius Nyang'oro won't face a felony charge of obtaining property by false pretenses, in large part because of his cooperation with other investigations relating to UNC's athletic-academic relationship.

Because FELONY charges are often DROPPED in exchange for cooperation in PRIVATE investigations , right? Keep in mind , Nyangoro was one of those "rogue offenders" scapegoated by his employer. Persona non grata to the Tarhole Nation. "It's all HIS fault!" Such an egregious felony-level offense should negatively impact his severance. Nope. unx gives 'im early retirement. Hinky.
