Fans say things in the heat of the moment that they really don’t mean. You seem like a reasonable person. I was probably a bit harsh towards you.
Look, we’re all UK fans here. At least most of us are. Just like with any large groups of people, you’re going to get numerous thoughts, opinions, and ways of expressing those thoughts and opinions. You have your sophisticated, educated way. That’s fine. Others, have a different way to share their thoughts and opinions.
Let‘s just all agree, that my thoughts and opinions are always spot on.

I had my mind made up that his resume wasn’t deserving of the job, yes. Surely that’s not a tough concept. That’s it. I said the same thing last year as well. When would you like me to discuss it? I’d say about the only time it’s not a worthy topic is if he’s consistently exceeding expectations.

I may be a simpleton, but it sounds like he was saying what Pope did last year was better than what Cal was producing his last few years. Never did he say he didn’t want to do better than that, just that he’d take Pope’s first year over Cal’s last few.

Look at his posts. He has relentlessly made fun of Pope but also knows he won't get fired, so he keeps asking that "who me" , smart allec type of question. Seems like the type of quack that would operate on the wrong arm.

Kentucky has one of the highest paid rosters in college basketball if not the highest. We’ve played two teams that are good and they’ve manhandled UK. We watch Pope stand with his arms crossed as the other team goes on a 8-0 or 9-0 run. Then he’ll pout in the postgame about how he knows what this means and how devastated he is. It’s okay for people to criticize the coaching job this year because it has been Billy G level bad

Nobody said you can't criticize him, but MANY are saying stuff that's way over the top. You just don't want to see it or even worse, you like it.
