Why have an empty backfield?

I get that we needed to mix in passes against TT to keep them off balance, but why not run play action fake? Especially when the running backs are gashing the defense! We ran empty backfield way too much today.

Anyhow, I am glad for the win and I am not a fire-the-coach guy. I just hope he gets a little bit dumber. Yes, I prefer a dumb, uncreative coach who says 'When we run it, we make eight yards. I am going to run it.'

I'm sorry EnginEER 89, your post was not complete adulation and exhortation of the coach. Therefore, you ARE in the fire-the-coach camp and need to be shouted down by those who are "true fans" (Note that each side thinks they are the "true" fans). At least that's been my experience on these message boards.
