Why is our secondary so horrible today?

WR's are WIDE OPEN. We can't cover the TE no matter where he goes.

What's the reason?

Looks like UK is playing a ton of zone. U of L is just finding the open windows.

Um, probably because we are playing in a Charmin soft zone.

I guess it's the old "keep everything in front of you" defense that Stoops loves. It's frustrating but we are still close.

Playing a zone doesn't make any sense if you allow the quarterback to sit back and wait all day to throw the ball. We either need to get more pressure on him or we need to change teh scheme in the defensive secondary and actually cover the receivers.

Because we're playing zone to keep Lamar Jackson in check. You can't play a zone that soft unless you're blutzing too. We're not blitzing enough and giving up wide open throws downfield that a decent HS QB could make.

Every time I hear CMS mentioned in the same sentence with "coaches defense". I want to throw up. He's been able to recruit and that's it!
