A day later?? Arkansas is good. Arkansas is probably going to be better than Kentucky this year. That was to be expected in year 1. Cal had 3 solid players he was able to bring with him. He had 3 good high school recruits he was able to bring with him. Pope had to build a complete new team with guys he didn’t have a past relationship with basically aside from Robinson. Who cares if Arkansas is better in year 1? Our reason for wanting Cal gone is bc we wanted a program ran with experienced talent that would be able to make deep runs in tournaments and not be shell shocked by the moment and that’s what we should have with pope going forward once he gets the roster construction how he wants it but it won’t be over night. So I don’t see why we’re still talking about Cal and Arkansas. Let it go

Because Calipari took our entire coaching staff, players, trainers and recruits to a different program. And now our team gets to play them in the same conference.

UK has only played one exhibition game. The football team stinks. There's not a lot to talk about.
There isn't much to talk about. It happened last night. Not sure how you know Arkansas will be better than UK. Cal is over the hill and should have retired 5 years ago.
Also, people are gonna post game threads for every Arkansas non conference game they could lose (with cal that includes cupcakes!) and then sec games. You might as well get used to it.

I do not believe any team coached by Cal will be better than this Kentucky team at the end of the season. Have some of you learned nothing?? EVERY year Cal's team or over hyped. They will fizzle just like his recent Kentucky teams. Because Cali simply can't win games anymore. He doesn't prioritze winning.
I agree, how many times did UK look like one of the best teams in the country early, winning and dominating overseas preseason, winning gold in Canada against professional teams only to fizzle out by mid season and become mediocre and lose in first round of sec and ncaa tournament?
Remember when we beat Kansas by 18 at Allen field house? Then we proceeded to lose first round to St. Peters and KU won the championship.
This could be an exception and Arkansas might have a great year, but I still believe we are better off long term.

Most folks just got over Pitino, some still haven't and never will. They'll pay more attention to Arkansas basketball and Cal than our own football program.

I didn’t see anything with their team that concerns me.. most have forgotten who their coach is how much internal turmoil there always is and how it eventually hijacks the season..
They might be jumping over the rim but they can't guard the three kansas had open looks all night and pack it in on them make them beat you from the perimeter not in the paint typical cal team can't wait to play him with our ability to shoot the deep ball
