The offense went from the 34th best last year to the 90th best this year, while the defense improved from 64th last year to 30th this year. Banker is no McBride, but the O was statistically the problem this year (and will be next year).

the offense made a lot more excuses, hurt o-line, qb that can't hit the broad side of a barn, etc. I didn't hear the defense making excuses.

I never heard anyone, coaches or players, making any excuses, offense or defense.

What does it matter to what we say about excuses? And why would you say 'the offense made a lot more excuses' if, as you just said, they didn't make excuses, we did?

point is, I didn't hear excuses no where near as as much for the defense as the offense.

You'd have to be a complete idiot to fire a guy that has already locked up two highly rated qbs and working on others. He's going to look brilliant in a year or two when these guys players hit the field.
