Will be interesting to see how NU does against the Friars......As I go to bed WI is down by 10 to Providence. Maybe with a full non conference schedule the B1G won’t be so overrated as it was last year.
For sure. First time our guys will bang against bodies at least (probably more so) stronger than theirs. Will be interesting to see how NU does against the Friars......
I thought Providence looked pretty solid and Watson down low will be tough for us to contend with. Bynum and Reeves up top were good, too. The Friars defended and rebounded at a high level. Will be a good challenge. That's the worst looking Wisconsin team since Dick Bennett turned the program around. Davidson scored almost half their points. Their fountain of great big men must have finally dried up.

I didn't see the play, but for a kicked ball to be called, there has to be some intent to use the leg to your advantage. If it inadvertently goes off the lower let or foot, that doesn't always get called. But, I have no idea what happened.Does a kicked ball have to come off the foot? Can the ball be kicked or ricochet off shin or knee, which is what appeared to happen in Illinois game, and I presume why it wasn't called?
Illinois was without Kofi so that’s a pretty big guy (in several ways) to be missing, but curbelo looked like crap. He has to learn to reign it in. You can’t have a pg who follows up one spectacular pass with a couple turnovers and poor shotsFor sure. First time our guys will bang against bodies at least (probably more so) stronger than theirs.
Illinois (albeit short handed) lost to Marquette. MU is picked to be at the bottom of the Big East. I knew Curbelo could not hit a 3. But this season is raising questions if he can shoot at all.
Wisconsin lost to Providence, at home. PC is picked to mid tier Big East with some chances at a bubble.
Penn State got destroyed by mighty UMass.
